CINCINNATI -- Joe Burrow suffered a left big toe injury midway through the second quarter that knocked him out of the game. He did not return and could be out several weeks with the injury. Jake Browning came on in his place and rallied the Bengals to a 31-27 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars when he leaped into the end zone on a quarterback keeper with 18 seconds remaining to cap a 15-play, 92 yard drive, which included two fourth-down conversions. Jungle Roar Bengals Steal One In Cleveland On Opening Day

CLEVELAND -- It might have been ugly but it was a win for the Bengals on opening day in Cleveland. Joe Burrow threw for just 113 yards and the offense could muster just 141 yards total offense but the defense intercepted Joe Flacco twice off deflected passes off receivers' hands and the Bengals held on for a 17-16 win over the Browns. Also helping the Bengals' cause was a missed extra point and a missed 36-yard field goal by Andre Szmyt.
