https://juryfile.com/ Haylee Cummings disappeared from Muncie, Indiana August 9, 2022. Haylee had left her house that morning to walk to the bus stop, however her parents later found out that she had not been on the bus that morning or attended school that day. It is believed that Haylee has left the state of Indiana and could be in the Cartersville, Georgia area in the company of a man she met online. Haylee Cummings was previously reported missing in early 2022 and was found approximately a week later in Bartow County, Georgia. The suspect was arrested and originally charged with interstate interference with custody and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. There is an active protective order in place from Haylee’s January disappearance that legally prevents Ryo Ratcliff, the above-mentioned suspect, from contacting Haylee Cummings. It is believed that Ratcliff could have violated this order by contacting and possibly luring Haylee to leave with him. Local law enforcement in Muncie officially assigned an investigator to her case as of August 19, 2022. A silver alert was also issued on August 19, 2022. https://juryfile.com/2022/08/02/joniah-walker/   On June 23, 2022, the family of Joniah Walker reported the 15-year-old missing. Joniah was last seen around 2:30 p.m. on June 23, 2022, near the intersection of East Reservoir Avenue and Buffum Street in Milwaukee.   The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) is assisting the family of Joniah Walker and has released footage of Joniah leaving her home the day she disappeared, Joniah is seen carrying a large green hiking backpack. https://juryfile.com/2022/08/05/georgia-2/   The interim director of the Georgia State Senate, Alexander Azarian, 52, is accused of exploiting minor children through private messages since 2007. Azarian has been charged with two felony counts of child pornography.   Azarian admitted to owning the email address that was associated with the criminal exploitation of minors before requested to speak to legal counsel.    Yahoo provided The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children with the information the email address was sending and receiving child sexual abuse material. On July 28, 2022, a search of Azarian’s residence provided evidence of child sexual abuse material on Azarian’s phone.    The evidence showed that Azarian received images of children performing sexual activity and he also shared those images with another individual.   Recent news articles referenced Azarian as “A man who works with lawmakers in the Georgia State Senate,” or “Former interim director of the Georgia State Senate.” However, that portrays a different image of Azarian’s employment status at the time of his arrest. Just last week, the Georgia State Senate was informed of Azarian’s arrest and a new interim director was named. This wording is often used when police officers and public officials are arrested, the suspect is often referred to as a “former” employee or official. Haylee Cummings is a missing teen from Muncie, Indiana, who was reported missing on the evening of August 9, 2022. It was originally believed that Haylee attended school on August 9, 2022. But the events that followed the already horrific tragedy, has left John Palmer fighting for justice in what he calls his wife’s murder, but local law enforcement refused to arrest the driver who struck Katie and John that day.    In our recent podcast episode, John Palmer details the day he lost his wife, Katie, and the events that followed. He explains to Jury File the uphill battle that his family has faced since losing Katie to what local law enforcement calls an “accident.”    Katie was very loved and respected in her community, and still is. Local residents of Denison, Texas, have rallied around Katie’s family to support their fight for justice, as well as supporters around the country.    At this time, the Texas Department of Public Safety is still investigating Cpl. Their family has not given up hope in finding them though, and they continue to search for answers. A mother and son don’t just disappear into thin air. It’s believed that Paula and Brandon went missing sometime on October 13th, 2002.    The morning of Monday October 14th, 2002, Paula didn’t show up to work for her 7:00 a.m. shift at the Valdosta Sam’s Club. Since missing work without notice was very unusual for Paula, her coworkers grew worried, and her marketing team leader sent someone twice to check on Paula at her residence at the Commons Apartments. Paula and Brandon were nowhere to be found. Paula’s 1998 Chevy Blazer was still parked at the apartment building, however Brandon’s car seat was missing from it. Police were called to the apartment but could find no signs of Paula or her son.  Every Sunday, at 6:30 pm, Paula called her parents. But they did not hear from her that previous evening, Sunday October 13th. Her parents initially passed it off as Paula just likely being busier than normal from packing in preparation for her approved work transfer to Kissimmee, Florida the next week. But “even one week (without contact) is totally out of character,” according to Paula’s family. There have been no sightings or contact with Paula or Brandon in almost twenty years.   Paula’s husband, staff sergeant Lance Wade, stationed at Shaw Air Force Base, Sumter, South Carolina, passed a polygraph test. Paula’s roommate at the time, 19 year old Marcus Randolph Burroughs, was initially unable to be tracked down by police for questioning, but was later located at Lowndes County jail after being arrested for theft and providing a false name. Burroughs was uncooperative, refused to take a polygraph test, and hired a lawyer. An acquaintance of Marcus’ told police of a location he thought remains might be buried, but law enforcement only found deer bones when they searched the site. To this day, there have been no arrests or charges in relation to Paula and Brandon Wade’s disappearance.
