Just A Fact

Kyarah has always been an outgoing and talkative individual. However, with some recent realizations, sometimes she can be too much, which is why she talks on this podcast about multiple topics that people struggle with, including herself. Kyarah will be talking about struggles in daily life, the future (which can be a scary thought), mental health, trends, and many other subjects. New episodes every friday.

justafactpodcast@gmail.com

why are we so dissatisfied

I have come to realize that this generation has become very dissatisfied with everything. Part of that is our own fault but the other part is because of how many trends there are and things we have been taught from others. In this episode I talk about why we are so dissatisfied with life and what caused the disappointment.

people pleasing

I feel like I can say for everyone that there has been a time when you have participated in something you didn’t want to in order to fit in or have said yes to plans you didn’t want to so people wouldn’t think you’re lame. We have all been there and it’s not fun when it becomes habit to always put yourself last. In this episode I talk about different kinds of people pleasing, signs of people pleasing, and how to get out of the trap of it.

burnout

I don’t know if I’m the only one but recently everything has just been making me extremely stressed, anxious, and drained. I am at a point of severe burnout and I truly need to deal with it. In this episode I talk about what it’s like to be burnt out, how to try to deal with it, and how we can cope with the symptoms and possibly prevent it from happening again in the future.

detaching from unrealistic ideas

I have a very bad habit of getting attached extremely easily to the thought of something or someone that makes me literally go insane. Of course it’s so fun to romanticize things but to a certain extent. It could become very toxic if you’re detaching from your regular life and romanticizing a person or thing to be something they’re not. I’m going to try my best to give some advice for what has helped me this far but I’m still trying to figure it out myself.

life is a mindset

When we really think about it, only YOU can control the emotions you feel and the different feelings you have about certain events. It’s not always easy to control, however, if we have a balanced mindset about the day to day, it will be easier to stay positive about events that can be taken negatively. In this episode, I will be talking about the differences between a positive versus negative mindset, how mindset can alter our perspective, and some examples from my own life where I have used both sides of a mindset.

grief

The death of a loved on is the absolute hardest thing we have to go through in life. I have been blessed my whole life with not having to experience death of a very close family member, until recently. There is a very long process of grief and it takes time to get through and past the thought of your loved one not being there anymore. In this episode I will be talking about my experience, the grieving process, and tips I have on how and how not to deal with death.

stop comparing yourself

We need to realize that comparison gets us nowhere! I have been through so much back and forth wishing that my life was different or that I looked a certain way and it just ends in me getting super upset and depressed. Let’s stop letting ourself get caught up over a 10 second tiktok video or a instagram post of someone where they are posing in order to achieve the perfect angle and focus on what we love about our own self. In this episode, I will be talking about different way people compare, how that affects us, how social media plays a big role, and what we can do in order to stop this habit.

moving cities to grow

Recently I have spent a lot of time and fallen in love with a new city that I truly want to move to. I don’t think it’s just me that feels stuck in the city I grew up in. It feels as though I can’t grow and be successful in my hometown because it’s become too familiar and depressing. A change of scenery, people, and area is such a blessing to be able to experience and it opens up so many opportunities. I truly believe that in order to fully be able to grow to our full potential, we have to make decisions in order to move on from how/where we grew up. In this episode I will be talking about how I feel that moving can help us grow and adapt better and also become more successful potentially. I will also be discussing what to consider before moving to a new city in order to feel more prepared.

The list is endless and after creating this episode about a hundred more came to mind. I will be going over my top pet peeves of others and even a list of pet peeves I have about myself.

identity crisis

It is such a dangerous situation to go into an identity crisis and if you have also been in one, you know what I mean. It causes a person to lose sight of themself and wish they were somebody they aren’t. In this episode, I talk about what an identity crisis is, what can cause it, and how social media affects our identity. Struggling with identity is not easy at all, so I hope that this episode can help you in trying to understand and find yourself again.

moving on

I am not very good with big changes when I first find out about them; this eventually leads to a breakdown or me turning the situation into a negative when it could be positive. In this episode I will be talking about many different things that we seem to fixate on as humans that aren’t as serious as we make them seem including: money, crushes, growth, big changes, grades, and careers. I will also be using celebrities as an example of how they moved on and even got hate for it just because people don’t like change.

college

Many aspire to go to post-secondary school and have a career in the fields that are offered but not me. I feel as though ever since I was young, I have been very entrepreneurial and driven to make my life interesting and different each day. Let’s stop feeling bad about getting frowned upon for not getting a paper degree and normalize not everyone wanting to have the typical lifestyle. Listen in to hear the different point of views I have on college and why I don’t want to go.

Many fear the thought of growing up and leaving behind childhood memories. I have been in the same situation before but recently I have had a change of perspective that growing up is truly exciting. In this episode I go into detail of why many are scared of growing up, what factors affect it, what we can look forward to with growing up, and how to slow time so it doesn’t feel like the hours go by so fast.

summer body

As summer is approaching, every year we can see a common pattern of “summer body” being in trend and people doing everything they can to achieve that. When you think about it, what really is the “perfect” summer body? In my eyes I see all body types getting hate, no matter if it fits society’s standards or not. I’m going to be touching on what summer body really is, how it can affect you, and how to not fall into the trap of trying to maintain an impossible body shape or size.

fake friends

I have personally struggled in the past with having fake friends that has affected my own personality, attitudes, and social life to the point of almost losing most relationships with people that I really care about. I can’t tell you how many times I have dealt with having these types of “friends” and how aggravating it is to try to separate yourself from them. It is difficult but if you don’t distance yourself, they will take advantage of your own self worth and belief in friendship. Thankfully I have gone past that and removed myself from those people but it was not easy (at all). In this episode I am going to be giving my advice on how to distance yourself from these situations and how to tell if you have a fake friend.

I can’t fully explain it but in this episode I touch on why I think that is, examples of my personal boredom, and what exactly I’m talking about.
