In this episode of the Just Thinking podcast, co-hosts Darrell Harrison and Virgil Walker discuss a biblical theology of abortion from the 3-point thesis that: 1) Abortion is the premeditated murder of unborn image-bearers of God (Gen. 1:27). 2) Murder is sin in God’s sight (Ex. 20:13). 3) In view of numbers 1 and 2, no individual has the right to premeditatedly end the life of an unborn child regardless of the circumstances by which that unborn child is conceived. Additionally, Darrell and Virgil connect the issue of abortion to the historical agenda of feminism and the LGBTQ movement of the 1800s. “Climate change.” The term is ubiquitous. Everywhere you turn, it seems, the phrase “climate change” is in your face. But what exactly is “climate change” in the first place? Is it the same thing as biblical stewardship of the earth and its resources? How are Christians understand what “climate change” is and respond biblically to it? In this episode of the Just Thinking podcast, Darrell Harrison and Virgil “Omaha” Walker take you directly to Scripture to answer those questions, and others, in this expanded episode titled, A Biblical Theology of Climate Change.   Related: The End of the Universe: Part 1 – sermon by John MacArthur (Grace to You) The End of the Universe: Part 2 – sermon by John MacArthur (Grace to You) The End of the Universe: Part 3 – sermon by John MacArthur (Grace to You) The Dangers of Exaggerated Climate-Change Reporting – Created to Reign podcast The Green Bible – Harper Collins Should Climate Change Keep Us From Having Kids? – Answers in Genesis The Essential Church movie website  Children’s Hunger Fund website  https://www.clcpublications.com/shop/the-forgotten-attributes-of-god/ “The Forgotten Attributes of God” — Dr. Peter Sammons Support To support the podcast, please click here or copy/paste the following link into your browser - https://justthinking.me/support/ Disclaimer © Darrell B. In this episode of the Just Thinking podcast, Darrell Harrison and Virgil “Omaha” Walker address what, arguably, is among the most misunderstood doctrines within the Protestant evangelism: spiritual warfare. Does the world have anything to offer the Church today? It appears that some protestant churches, denominations - and their leaders - seem to think so. But to what end? What's the payoff for them? Are there to be no distinctions between the kingdom of darkness (the world) and the kingdom of Light (the Church) in our churches and denominations? Those questions, and others, are the focus of Darrell Harrison and Virgil "Omaha" Walker in this episode of the Just Thinking podcast, titled "Cultural Denominationalism." Behavioral perfectionism – not to be confused with the doctrine sometimes referred to as Christian perfectionism or sinless perfection – is a sin many professing Christians struggle with (yes, it is a sin). But not only is the individual perfectionist affected by their behavior, so are those who are closest to them. In this episode of the Just Thinking podcast, Darrell Harrison and Virgil “Omaha” Walker leverage their experience as biblical counselors to walk you through what the Word of God, and other trusted biblical sources, have to say about dealing biblically with the issue of behavioral perfectionism toward the goal of gaining victory over it. In Colossians 2:8, the apostle Paul exhorts believers to not be taken captive through philosophies and deceptions that are rooted in the traditions of men. Deconstruction, a philosophy that has its origins in Marxism, is one of those deceptions. And yet, there are those within evangelicalism today who are actively promoting and advocating that deconstruction is good and virtuous for the church. In this episode of the Just Thinking podcast, hosts Darrell Harrison and Virgil ‘Omaha’ Walker make it clear that they do not concur with that view. Listen as they “turn pages” and discuss what God’s Word has to say about “Evangelical Deconstructionism.” That’s the title of episode 117 of the Just Thinking podcast.   Support To support the podcast, please click here or copy/paste the following link into your browser - https://justthinking.me/support/ Disclaimer © Darrell B. With over 5,000+ registered, the 2021 G3 Conference was a massive success and with the theme being - "Christ" - it was great to hear so many great messages on the deity of Christ. With the primary focus on the deity of Christ, Darrell and Virgil took a different route in order to focus on the anti-Christ agenda that is fully at work in the hearts of the "culture" that seeks to elevate "blackness" as it's cultural savior. COVID-19, mask mandates, vaccine passports, inflation, job security - these realities and more have many professing Christians today locked in the throes of fear and anxiety about the future. To be sure, not all fear and anxiety Christians experience is sinful, and yet there are times when the fear and anxiety we feel is, in fact, not in keeping with how God would have His people respond. How do you recognize and respond rightly to sinful fear and anxiety? What’s the remedy for overcoming it? The topic of 'women preachers' and 'women pastors' has been hotly debated for decades within the evangelical church. Categories such as "complementarian" and "egalitarian" have been created to describe the two primary camps that seem increasingly divided over this subject. However, in this episode of the Just Thinking podcast, Darrell Harrison and Virgil "Omaha" Walker assert that this topic is not a matter of "ism's," but is a simple question of submission and obedience to the clear teachings of the Word of God. The #LeaveLOUD movement is urging black evangelical Christians to exit white evangelical spaces, primarily on the basis that white evangelical Christians don't recognize or celebrate black evangelical Christians for who they are. But is such a movement biblical? On this episode of the Just Thinking podcast, Darrell Harrison and Virgil 'Omaha' Walker take a look at #LeaveLOUD through the broader lens of "activist theology," and Christians who see an activist gospel as a means to achieve a particular end within the Church. The evangelical church is at a crossroads. It’s not the first time. Worldly philosophies, such as Critical Race Theory and the ‘social gospel’ are distracting the church from its fundamental mission: proclaiming the evangel—the good news—of salvation in Jesus Christ to unbelieving sinners. In this ‘freestyle’ episode of the Just Thinking podcast, Darrell Harrison and Virgil “Omaha” Walker look to Scripture as they consider the issue of which road the church will take: theory or theology.   Support To support the podcast, please click here or copy/paste the following link into your browser - https://justthinking.me/support/ Disclaimer © Darrell B. It's an explicitly anti-human death/murder cult. "YOU are the carbon they want to reduce." I don't know the source of that quote. But it's spot-on!

Wow, the intro to the Gaian Creed says: "I remember growing up a Christian and reciting The Nicene Creed every Sunday, which served as one clear way of affirming what a Christian was and who I was." So this person was raised in church! It doesn't say who wrote that section, but learning how they went from that to this paganism would be valuable.

Darrell and Virgil tackle every issue, no matter how "tough" it may seem, with clarity of thought, well-reasoned logic, and (most importantly) a biblical perspective. Every situation can amd must be dealt with from a biblical perspective. That is what these two do every single episode. God richly bless you, my dear brothers in Christ!

I am new to listening to your guys's podcast. I started listening maybe two or three days ago and at first I was really going bored and I'm like yeah these guys are really doing it. But this episode Assurance of salvation, please let me know if I'm missing something. Because in the Bible it states that we need to obey Acts 2:38. Be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and then we will receive the promise of the holy spirit. That I followed that part of the Bible but I'm a little concerned because with this title being Assurance of salvation, being as though the Holy Spirit is the Seal of the promise oh, I just feel as though it should be mentioned in this episode. Because what it sounds like is that people can just say yes I believe in Jesus Christ and be saved. and even living righteously or doing good deeds alone without having the Holy Spirit dwelling on the inside of them, they are still considered saved. but the gospel that I received when I was first saved and the doctrine that I

Hello. I’m Samuel Gepi-Attee, a Ghanaian working in Scotland. I just wanted to thank you both for the wonderful work you are doing. I listen to your podcast every morning on my way to work and was hooked from the first day. Like a an experienced swordsman you seem to wield the word of God appropriately especially through the several challenging issues about; one being race and equality, slicing and dicing with the one objective truth; God’s Word. I stand firmly with you two in the firm foundation of the Word. Having lived and worked both the UK and Ghana, what you say is absolutely true; sin is a heart issue. If darker skinned people felt they were being oppressed in the West due to their being a minority, all I can say is in Ghana, the majority dark skinned people oppress the same dark skinned people just the same. There is no safe haven from the sinful heart we have other than the cross. I love how Hebrews 4:14 puts it; Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through th

Where did episode 22 go? Listened to it before and was hoping to find to listen again. So much good food for thought as well as encouragement! Thank you for your time and effort in putting this podcast on.
