Rudy Giuliani has been playing games in his attempt to avoid turning over his assets and property to the two Georgia state election workers, Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman, a jury said he defamed, and ordered him to pay $146 million in damages. Judge Aileen Cannon's favoritism and bias in favor of Donald Trump is well-established. And the law provides that even the appearance of bias and favoritism (no actual bias/favoritism is necessary) warrants the removal of a judge from presiding over a case. Recent reporting makes clear that Donald Trump is proudly and enthusiastically lawless. First, he announced that if elected he will fire Special Counsel Jack Smith - the very prosecutor who is pursuing Trump in two federal criminal cases - adding that he will fire him "within two seconds" of taking office. Of course, a president can't fire a special counsel, only an Attorney General can. Many of us have waited a very long time for Special Counsel Jack Smith to file a motion to remove Trump-appointed Judge Aileen Cannon from presiding over Trump's criminal case in Florida.
