~ Cancel Culture ~ I am a mother of four children and it concerns me that my children will be living in a society that is too quick to condemn, to silence, to criticise and to CANCEL anyone for mistakes, offences and crimes from the moment the news is out. Verified or not is a matter of seeing it with your own eyes to walk the journey with another person, guilty or not is it a different topic to have in the courtroom and to cancel? It is a whole different game that society is playing today. Wait for my second podcast episode with my sister, as we share our sentiments about cancel culture and if there are other approaches that we as a society or community can adopt? Or are we left with very little room for mistakes as every mistake (major or minor) seems to be brought to light today to be made fun of or ridiculed? What is the future you want in correcting the behaviours of an individual in the public domain? What is the objective of continued shaming when it could also affect another person's mental health? Two wrongs don't make a right. Are we playing double-standard? This is a contentious topic and I and my sister is braving this topic to shed a different perspective about cancel culture. I am honoured to be invited as a guest speaker in Coffee with Laura. In this video, you will get to know me a bit more and the struggles in life that lead me to become a life coach. I did not become a life coach overnight, it was a process of blood, sweat and tears literarily to break free from behaviours and habits that did not serve me. Nadia Omar has been a client of mine for three years and I invited her to be a guest on my podcast because I believe she can inspire those struggling with issues such as anger. Covid 19 had affected Nadia so much and I remembered her feeling worried and anxious when we first met during her coaching session. As time went by, she was no longer the Nadia I knew. She continues to evolve and even without her realising it. Reflecting on her self-mastery journey, she realised one significant change that means a lot to her. She is now a calm person who is no longer rigid in her ways when dealing with others and she's proud of her new calm demeanour. Muneerah Khan is a mother of five and she found herself feeling lost after having her third child. For many years she's been wanting to also earn some income but she struggled to balance between work and family. She joined K Community to practice self-mastery and positivity. She not only try to understand what she learnt, but she also implemented what she'd learnt through having a brand new perspective or new frame of life. What's the new frame of life that she got and how did she manage to overcome procrastination in decision making and take immediate action in fulfilling her responsibility at home? How does she finally manage to attend to family and business as well as achieve new ranks in her business? How does she manage to lose 6 kg at the beginning of this year after being stuck year after year and not achieving a single new years resolution? In this Inspiring Guest Podcast Episode, I have invited Coach Ayu Asi. Coach Ayu is an ex-MOE secondary school Biology teacher of 10 years. Left teaching to look after her children but continued to give tuition and write Science books and lesson packages for tuition centers. An author of Grade 3-6 Science Teachers’ Guide books, International Edition.  She is a mother of 5 children, of which 3 are boys and 2 girls. Covid saw her training to become a life coach and now she’s a certified parenting coach.  Having had experience as a caregiver to a teenager with social anxiety disorder, she also conducts workshops for parents on managing teens with mental health as well as those with specific learning needs. In this episode, I invited Mandd to share his story and here's a brief summary about Mandd in his own words. In 2005, I suffered from a condition rendering me temporarily blind. Yet when I was referred for surgery, I found myself on a journey with a Chinese medicine practitioner who Treated my blindness with Qi Gong healing energy. After I was fully sighted and remained in constant pursuit of new knowledge and advocacy for using the powers of the mind and subconscious mind, the laws of attraction, Chakra and Qi in healing ourselves.  With the intention to help My own father with long term alcohol addiction, I spent years researching the subconscious mind, law of attraction, energy healing and how the mind works. I eventually discovered hypnotherapy and achieved success with my father with this mode of treatment.  During my years of research and studies, I realized that many people are living with high levels of stress and anxiety.
