I be walking by school n these lil 10 yr old 12 yr old kids be rocking Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, Adidas all day.. in our days (gen x) we would have 2b rich to be wearing branded clothing..at best we'd get local unbranded stuff.. but nowadays..seeing yung ns with branded clothes n all tells u how far APPEARANCES MATTER to this gen... like what will my peers think if I wear non branded..o what if I use old slang etc.. conclusion: don't live according to terms of others n don't look to impress others..just recognize yourself your beliefs n values don't compromise to fit in conformity is suicidal. be you( respect u hijabis n niqabis), don't be afraid to be alone in a crowd..my faith in Islam taught me that n Allah is only 1 we striving to impress.
