Very straight podcast. I have been struggling with the same problem over the year and still trying to get out of the tight circle with the help of dietitian and psychologist. Everything told her is so true, I think people shall speak about it louder. We usually hear about anorexia and bulimia, when the illness is officially stated. At start, I personally was ashamed to speak loudly about my eating struggles, because I felt that I exaggerated it. However it got worse and worse. I lost a lot some weight in a short time. However my mental being has been effected most. Even now most of my minds are about food, even though I have a eating plan from dietitian. I guess I am still on the way in finding normal relationship with food which I have lost in a quite short time. It takes more time that I have every thought. Thank you Kalyn for sharing your experience! I can see now, that there is more people struggling with the same thing. It reminds me, that you can not live when you are starving and thinking only about food!

Thank you so much for your raw honesty here 🧡 I listened to this while walking my dog and it gave me goosebumps every now and then because you took me back to a place that I am SO thankful to have left behind. It is hard to unlearn the unhealthy patterns and to leave behind the guilt and shame that come with it, but it is doable! Time and age thankfully do make us wiser I believe, so all the best and love & light to you, and again, thank you! 🙏🦋

i think this is something very less talked about...pretty much everyday we switch up our masks depending upon given situations and react to it... completely being unconscious about what's stirring deep inside.

I've been a subscriber of yours on YouTube for about 2 or 3 years and I have to say this podcast really really spoke out to me. I didn't start listening to your podcast until about a month ago so that's why I'm only on the third one but I spent a lot of my life trying to look trendy on social media I spent a lot of my life trying to be valid on social media I've also spent a lot of time on social media trying to make myself look like a likeable person and it wasn't until the start of this month that I realized that as long as I can accept myself it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks I could delete my social media today and that would make me any less of a likeable person it wouldn't make me look any less valuable it wouldn't make me look any less valid so before I go on a tangent about social media I just want to say that I like all of your content but I hold this podcast close to my heart. keep doing what you do because you are really inspiring me to become a better version of myself.💕🥰

I love the potion metaphor. In my bullet journal, my mood tracker for October is potion bottles. This was a reminder that I'm in charge of those potion bottles, aka my moods

I dont have my very own safe space, since I live in a tiny home. but for my husband and I, our safe space has always been our car. maybe bc we lived in it at one point. but very frequently once we pull in the driveway we tend so sit and chill in our car for quite some time. i go and grab our dog from inside and go back in the car lol

The black squiggly figures need to be a Doctor Who episode if they aren't already. I just finished watching the 12th Doctor episodes, and 12 would have done well with them.
