After a Top 5 album and career spanning box set, Sony returns to California for two live projects including a surprise reissue and an expansive look at a famous run of shows from 1968
Jimi's catalog switches labels again and the new label doesn't hold back, releasing a brand new album and a box set to show they mean business.  And they're rewarded with a Top 5 album.
Jimi Hendrix's legacy rests on his stellar live performances as well as his ground breaking studio work.  This episode look at some of the early live releases, both in the last year of his life and soon after his passing and how these performances cemented his reputation and set the standard (both high and low) for releases to come.
The passing of Jimi Hendrix in 1970 led to an unprecedented string of posthumous album releases that continues to this day.  The first episode of Keep On Grooving looks at the first two LPs after his death, Cry of Love and Rainbow Bridge and how they set the stage for future albums down the line.
Update on the source of some of the tapes form the box and what's ahead for 2026
