After playing at this, my favorite club in Berlin, so many times during the last couple of years, I got the honor to fill one slot of the 20 years anniversary of our beloved GOLDENGATE! I was one of the last to play this long birthday weekend and when I arrived, the club looked and smelled like I remembered it from my first times beeing there, years ago. People were dancing, laughing, smiling, drinking, cueing at the toilet, sweating their souls out and just being happy all over the place... I loved the vibe, during my set, but also during the other sets... as always! Felt great! And the excitement ironically felt so soothing... giving me goosebumps thinking back to it! THANK YOU, GOLDENGATE! THANK YOU FOR SO MANY YEARS OF JOY! And cheers to so many more years to come <3
I had the honour of playing my first 'real' club gig after the pandemic at my beloved GOLDEN GATE to close the easter weekend of 2022 after a HUGE party on Easter Monday in style... It was such a special vibe! I was speechless even days after all this went down... again: THANK YOU ALL! Some little struggles here and there are making this set to what it is: lively and honest! I put my heart into this selection, playing some older tunes I always loved combined with fresh tunes I never played in a club before... still, I didn't even get to play everything I wanted, as always, haha. The opening track is something very special to me as my good friend @constcash and I finished this track a day before the gig, especially for the gig, under our @diskursduo alias. In April and May we are getting ready for the summer season, so I tried to catch the vibes of spring with some smooth, reduced and groovy tunes. Some warm and easy pads and synths round up these relaxed and joyful feelings. I used a lot of tracks I am usually not playing in a club. A different and playful side of my sound.
