Ableton sent me a Push 3 for a 30-day trial, and I’m diving in daily to see if it’s worth the investment. Today’s Day 1, and I’m sharing high-level thoughts, early pros and cons, and my initial experience with setup.⚠️ USB-C audio isn’t enabled on this Push 3 (weirdly, it works on Ableton Move), and manually installing all the packs is a whole process. 🎹 This is my first attempt at building a portable, battery-powered music setup — and it’s all in one uncut take. I’m using the ICON Pro Audio 88-key MIDI controller, OP-X, my phone running the Korg Module app for incredible piano sounds, and the Teenage Engineering OB-4 speaker to bring it all to life.This is a casual experiment, not a polished performance — but it’s the start of something exciting. I wanted to test how this rig could work for in-person gigs without needing a laptop or power outlet.
