Starting off in the background and then pushed forward into the spotlight in 2017 while working along her brothers the Lost Champions and her mentor Antuane Baker. Steele was stamped “The Paperwork Lady” because she ensured that music accounts were opened, music was registered, uploaded and splits were giving. 2020, was a crazy year for us all but an even crazier year for Steele. She was apart of the release of “Coochie” by YN Jay & Louie Ray the single went viral and turned out to be a hit! Dubbed the "Ratchet Rockstar" of Flint, MI, twenty-seven-year-old Ace Gabbana is one of the city's most prolific recording artists. Known for his unique fashion sense, Gabbana sets himself apart from his peers by relinquishing traditional rap norms and embracing his "outer space" sound that expands beyond rap and hip-hop into pop, alternative rock, and R&B music. Gabbana's accolades include three solo albums, two collaboration projects, numerous singles, features in Flintside Magazine, MLive's The Flint Journal, Flintbeat, and the Conversations with Flint book series. Born and raised on the north side of Flint, Gabbana comes from a gifted family that includes his grandfather, who was deep into jazz music, and his father, who flourished as a local videographer in the early 00s with viral YouTube videos and club promotions. Originally intending to become a comic book artist, Gabbana got his start in music at thirteen-years-old recording at Silly Boys Recording Studio. He released his first album, D.M.T., in 2014 and his first collaboration project, DillaNoize, in 2015. In 2017, Gabbana moved to Burbank, CA., where he worked under Jon Connor, who was then signed to Aftermath/Interscope Records and released his second album, the alternative hip-hop and rock-n-roll inspired Ratchet Rock-N-Roll. Under Jon Connor's All Varsity Music Group (AVMG) imprint and tutelage, Gabbana learned from Dr.Dre, Too Short, The Game, and many more West Coast legends. However, due to creative differences, Gabbana left AVMG and, in 2022, released two albums. The first was his second collaboration project with Jamaican artist and Flint native Cameron Tyler, Moon On Marlowe Dr., and his third solo album, MoonWater, which Flintside Magazine called a "production that rivals mainstream releases" and a "showcase for [Flint]." Currently, Gabbana is under the management of BRB LLC., where he is working on new music, performing, building new bonds with peers in Michigan and across the country, and releasing singles and visuals on various social and music platforms. Envyd (Env-ied) is a American female rap artist and songwriter from Flint, Mi. She began rapping in the 10th grade. She never wanted to be a rap star until one day her daughter asked “Ma, why you don’t rap anymore”? Being known to rap fast like the rapper Twista in high school, as a female, was an advantage. She began to think that at her age now, is it too late? She realized it’s never too late. This lead her back into the studio when she got a random call one day from a Flint native engineer, ILLA. Although Envyd remains humble on her rap journey, she lets it be known the hate is real. Envyd and her sister Blu, were both raised in Beecher, a small town around Flint, Mi by their grandmother. She gave them the world. Growing up in a single middle class family, not only did Envyd do ballet for 14 years, but Envyd went to Catholic Schools all of her elementary and grade School years. She then went on to graduate from Charles Stewart Mott Community College with an Associate Degree in Business Management. Years later, after having three children, she attended University of Phoenix where she received her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. Being driven by many different music lanes, Envyd has shown herself to be diverse in this rap industry.
