As I embark on a new journey and transition in my life as a single mama, I did some reflection and became more self aware. I talk about some lessons learned that you may have as well learned or experienced too. I share them not only for myself as a reminder but for other women. This thing called life sometimes gets challenging but through it all we learn a new way doing and a new way of becoming. Listen and hopefully gather some takeaways.

Born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Rosalind Armstrong-Woodfox, is one of four siblings.  She has been blessed in marriage to Dwayne for 26 years.  She is also the proud mother of 4 and proud grandmother of one. Rosalind is a graduate of the University of New Orleans where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science.  She also served 8 years in the United States Army Reserve.   Rosalind is a founding member of Household of Faith Family Worship Church International, where Pastor Antoine M. Barriere is the Pastor and her Spiritual Father.  She published her 1st book in 2018 entitled My Story, My Testimony, My Deliverance which tells of her real life experiences growing up and how she was delivered and healed of 2 incurable diseases. She is the Founder of ROSE, Reaching Our Sisters Everyday, helping souls break free of their painful past, receive emotional healing and walk in deliverance. In June 2019 she began a mentoring program for young girls ages 14-21 called Daughter of a ROSE.  Rosalind is a servant, a mentor, a counselor, an author, a worshipper, an exhorter, and a prayer warrior.  You will always find her serving and meeting the needs of God’s people and getting her “praise on”!   Her daily motivation is, Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil but to give you an expected end.” Chef Diana and Elder Rosalind have a conversation about the importance of prayer. Chef Johnene Joy Breaux is a talented and highly skilled personal chef with over six (6) years in the culinary industry.  Chef Johnene graduated in May 2016 from Nicholls State University with a Bachelors of Science in Culinary Arts. Shortly after graduating, she begin her personal chef journey working for A-list clients.  She worked a schedule with Chef D'Antoine Hills for about a year and decided to come home for good in April of 2017. Working as a personal chef enabled Chef Johnene to travel the world and cook for other celebrities such as Nicki Minaj and  Lauren London to name a few. Currently Chef Johnene is living in Los Angeles, CA working as a full time private chef. She has been featured in and on the cover of Thibodaux/Houma, Louisiana's "Bayou Gourmet Cookbook" 41st Anniversary Premium Edition, March 2016, which details her culinary journey along with the recipe for her signature dish, Scallops Lafourche.
