This week on KnokX Knowledge Radio, we welcome Matt Cross aka “M-Dogg 20!” Matt Cross first gained notoriety in the early 2000’s under the name “M-Dogg 20.” Wrestling in promotions as diverse as CZW, XPW, and IWA Mid-South, “M-Dogg 20” made his name by utilizing his award-winning gymnastics breakground to become one of the most innovative high-flyers of the era. In many of his matches, “M-Dogg 20” dazzled wrestling fans everywhere with stunningly acrobatic moves that had never been seen before. In 2006, he began performing under the name Matt Cross for the Ring of Honor promotion. Now combining rugged mat wrestling with his already successful aerial attack, Matt Cross has been a force to be reckoned with in every promotion he has entered since. His tag team with Teddy Hart in MTV’s Wrestling Society X – “The Filth and The Fury” – provided many of the most memorable moments in the short-lived promotion. He has continued to compete all over the world in the years that have followed in Japanese promotions Dragon Gate and Pro Wrestling NOAH, Italy’s Nu-Wrestling Evolution, Irish Whip Wrestling in Ireland, and the Hulkamania World Tour in Australia.

This week on KnokX Knowledge Radio, we welcome Scott Garland, aka “Scotty 2 Hotty!” Garland first got his start in the early ‘90s working for WWE under the name Scott Taylor. Garland’s athleticism shined in his early matches, but he started to break out after joining forces with Brian Christopher in 1998 and forming the tag team known as “Too Much.” The cocky duo angered fans and fellow wrestlers with their arrogance. Over time, the duo developed an over-the-top hip-hop edge and changed their name to “Too Cool.” Both wrestlers started integrating breakdancing into their matches, with Garland transforming into the hat-and-sunglasses-wearing “Scotty 2 Hotty.” The duo started to win fans over, but it was upon joining forces with The Legendary Rikishi that the fans truly accepted them with open arms. The trio of Rikishi, “Scotty 2 Hotty” and “Grandmaster Sexay” became one of the most beloved trios in the history of professional wrestling, entertaining crowds all over the world with their antics.
This week on Knokx Knowledge Radio, we welcome Tamara Sunny Sytch. Sytch got her start in the early 90s in Jim Cornettes Smoky Mountain Wrestling. As a manager, her wicked combination of beauty and brains led to multiple headaches for their opponets. She soon caught the attention of World Wrestling Entertainment. This week on KnokX Knowledge Radio, we welcome Sean “XPAC” Waltman! First gaining attention in 1991 as The Lightning Kid on nationally broadcasted GWF events, Waltman made waves with his innovative high-flying offense. In 1993, he got signed by WWE. Now known as “The 1-2-3 Kid,” Waltman utilized his spectacular moves in the ring to become the ultimate underdog against larger opponents such as Razor Ramon. In 1994, he challenged Bret “The Hit Man” Hart for the WWE Championship in one of the most memorable RAW main events of that time period. Waltman moved over to WCW in 1996, joining Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash in the now. Achieving championship success in WCW’s cruiserweight division, Waltman had action-packed encounters with opponents such as Eddie Guerrero and Chris Jericho. Waltman returned to WWE in 1998. Now known as “XPAC,” Waltman joined D-Generation X alongside Triple H and The New Age Outlaws. Segments involving this group provided some of the wildest moments of the Monday Night Wars. In the years since leaving WWE, Waltman continues to be one of the most in-demand performers all over the world, performing in promotions as diverse as TNA, MTV’s Wrestling Society X, and AAA in Mexico.
This week on KnokX Knowledge Radio, we welcome Nelson Frazier! Whether you call him “Mabel”, “Viscera”, or “Big Daddy V”, what is universal is the fact that Frazier is one of the most memorable big men to ever step into the ring. The nearly seven-foot-tall Frazier first broke out on the national scene in the early ‘90s under the name “Mabel” as a part of hip-hop tag team called Men On A Mission. After achieving tag team success and winning the WWE Tag Team Championship, “Mabel” made in-roads in singles competition, winning the 1995 King of the Ring tournament, main-eventing Summerslam 95 against then-WWE Champion Diesel, and memorably feuding with The Undertaker. A few years later, Nelson Frazier resurfaced as the demonic “Viscera,” a member of The Undertaker’s Ministry of Darkness. One of the most imposing figures to ever set foot inside the ring, “Viscera” was ruthless in his bloodlust as he engaged in wars against Mark Henry, The Big Show, and more. In later years, he would be managed by Matt Striker under the name “Big Daddy V” in ECW. “Big Daddy V” battled for big man supremacy against the likes of Kane and The Great Khali. This week on KnokX Knowledge Radio, we welcome Savio Vega! Getting his start in the late ‘80s in his native Puerto Rico, he first achieved success under the name “TNT.” He captivated audiences in his homeland by utilizing his unique combination of martial arts and wrestling skills to attain the upper hand in bloody feuds against legends such as Carlos Colon and Abdullah The Butcher. His early success would gain him notice from promotions in Japan, where he teamed alongside his old rival Abdullah The Butcher and dominated teams in that country. Success and notoriety would continue to follow him as he entered WWE in the mid-‘90s. Making an impact fighting alongside Razor Ramon (Scott Hall), Savio Vega soon found himself in the finals of the prestigious King of the Ring tournament. In the years that followed in WWE, Savio Vega stood toe-to-toe in feuds with such foes as Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, and Jeff Jarrett. He later became a member of the original Nation of Domination alongside Ron Simmons and Crush, and formed the Puerto Rican stable of wrestlers known as Los Boricuas. After leaving WWE, Savio Vega returned to Puerto Rico and became one of the most influential wrestlers in his homeland, both in the ring and behind the scenes. He also has worked behind the scenes in TNA and in the Indian promotion Ring Ka King. To this day, he continues to entertain crowds and train wrestlers worldwide.

Her fifteen-year career has taken her from TNA to WWE and every point in between. She has been a dominant force inside the ring for every major women’s wrestling promotion, including SHIMMER, Womens Extreme Wrestling, and Women Superstars Uncensored. As a member of Team Blondage, Amber ONeal was part of one of the most popular tag teams in the women’s wrestling circuit. Currently, Amber ONeal is one-half of the WOW Tag Team Champions with Santana Garrett as The All-American Girls.

D’Lo Brown first made his name in Smoky Mountain Wrestling as a member of The Gangstas, one of the most violent factions to ever set foot inside a wrestling ring. He soon got signed by WWE, where he broke out as a member of the Nation of Domination alongside The Rock, Ron Simmons, Mark Henry, and The Godfather. D’Lo Brown attained singles success soon after, winning the WWE European Championship and having one of the most notable reigns in the history of that title. He is also one of the few men to hold two championships in WWE at the same time, also winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship while still European Champion. During his career, D’Lo Brown has also seen in-ring success in TNA, the United Kingdom, and All Japan Pro Wrestling. The last few years has seen Brown transition into a role behind the scenes, working as an agent with TNA. But his impact was still felt inside the ring when he was revealed to be a member of Aces and Eights during their rise to dominance in TNA.
This week on KnokX Knowledge Radio, we welcome Matt Hardy as our special guest! Matt Hardy achieved his goal of wrestling inside a WWE ring at an early age, competing in his first televised match at the age of 19 years old. Success would not come easy, but Matt and his brother Jeff Hardy worked and toiled their way through the ranks of WWE to become one of the most popular – and death-defying – tag teams ever. The team was one of the originators of the TLC (Tables, Ladders, and Chairs) match after engaging in wild tag team wars with The Dudley Boyz and Edge & Christian over the WWE Tag Team Championship. Singles success would also come Matt’s way, winning and defending the ECW Championship against competition such as Mark Henry, Chavo Guerrero, and Finlay. He also had memorable battles as United States Champion against the likes of MVP. Today, Matt Hardy competes in hard-hitting bouts for the nationally broadcast Ring of Honor promotion. In-ring success and the adulation of wrestling fans continue to follow Matt Hardy today as he wrestles for rabid crowds all over the country.
This week on KnokX Knowledge Radio, we welcome WWE Hall of Famer Ron Simmons! After achieving success on the gridiron as an All-American football player at Florida State University, Ron Simmons utilized his athletic ability to also achieve success inside the wrestling ring. Simmons worked his way up through the ranks and became WCW World Heavyweight Champion in 1992, dethroning the monstrous Big Van Vader. He later set his sights on WWE, first gaining notoriety as the leader of the Nation of Domination, which included in its ranks The Rock, Mark Henry, and The Godfather. After the Nation of Domination disbanded, Simmons joined forces with Bradshaw to gain success in WWE’s tag team division as the APA (Acolyte Protection Agency). The duo ran roughshod over every team that stood in its path, participating in some of the most memorable brawls WWE saw during that time period with teams such as The Dudley Boyz, Kane and X-Pac, and The Hardy Boyz. All of Ron Simmons’ numerous accomplishments were formally recognized when he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012.

Stepping into battle in WWE, WCW, and Puerto Rico, The Headshrinkers often saw their hands raised in victory as they used their combination of raw power and aerial agility to dominate opponents as diverse as The Road Warriors, The Midnight Express, and The Von Erich Brothers. In WWE, Samu and Fatu would follow in the footsteps of their ancestors – Afa and Sika, The Wild Samoans – and win the WWE Tag Team Championship. Today, Samu is influential in helping to train the next generation of wrestling superstars at The Wild Samoan Training Center in Pennsylvania.

This week on KnokX Knowledge Radio, we welcome Chavo Guerrero Sr. aka “Chavo Classic!” A member of one of professional wrestling’s most famous families, Chavo Guerrero Sr. was one of the most spectacular wrestling attractions of the 1970’s and 80’s. Along with his brothers Hector, Mando, and Eddie, Chavo Guerrero Sr. helped carry on a wrestling tradition birthed by their father, the great Gory Guerrero. Chavo Guerrero Sr. achieved championship success all over the world, winning titles throughout the United States, Mexico, and Japan. In the 70’s, his feud with Rowdy Roddy Piper provided some of the most memorable moments in wrestling that decade. In the 80’s, teams with his brothers Hector and Mando revolutionized tag team wrestling. Championship success also followed him into his later years, as he won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship in 2005 after joining his son Chavo Guerrero Jr. in battles against Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio.

This week on KnokX Knowledge Radio, we welcome Gene Snitsky! Getting his start in the wrestling business from Afa Anoa’i - one of the forefathers of The Samoan Dynasty wrestling legacy - Gene Snitsky has been a factor in many of wrestling’s most controversial moments. First gaining prominence feuding with Kane in WWE, this feud led to some of the most outrageous acts ever perpetrated in a professional wrestling feud. After his feud with Kane culminated, Snitsky continued to wreak havoc on WWE opponents on Monday Night RAW, and later on WWE’s relaunched ECW television program. Since leaving WWE, Snitsky has been engaged in some of the Territory League’s fiercest battles in the ring opposite opponents such as the Legendary Rikishi, The Pimp Fatha, and Parker Greaves.
