I'm glad such podcasts are being made and published for Indian audiences but there are some concerns I had with the content of the podcast 1.it is historically inaccurate to generalise that the people of India followed manusmriti very seriously 2.at 1:19 the host is heard stating " this is present in your Quran,in your Islam " it may have been more prudent to mention Hadis,Sunna etc instead of repeating Islam after Quran 3.at 1:34 " since the women were oppressed back then" this line in the script far to simplistic an explanation and assumes that women aren't oppressed now .At 1:49 " the law was different back then ,it was more patriarchal" this another example in quick succession of a lack of attention to script . the law is still inarguably patriarchal today 4.the host states that "there is no polygamy " in today's day .this is factually incorrect a substantial percentage of Muslims today have polygynous marriages . IVM is a watermark in spreading much needed knowledge in India and f
