But there’s one brand he’s stuck with through thick and thin, where his experience has spanned from sales to design director. He’s truly an expert when it comes to wetsuits. He broke nearly every amateur NSSA record, spent over a decade on the World Tour, and took the crown at the Backdoor Shootout. His fierce approach and intensity earned him not one, but two iconic nicknames: “BAM BAM” and “THE TERMINATOR ”!!??He once famously told an opponent in a pre-heat interview, “I’m going to terminate you,” and he had the talent to back it up. Our guest this week is Local Legend from Long Beach that caught his first wave 75 years ago. Living a nomadic life spending most his time surfing or playing beach volleyball, he has called Huntington Beach and North Shore Oahu his home for most of his life.  He was one of the few charging Waimea and Pipeline in the 60’s and was a part of the Huntington Beach Surf Club in the early days. He has been a Jack of all trades, being a shop manager at Harbour SurfBoards, a journalist, School Teacher, and Real Estate Mogul.
