076 - Free is a 4-letter word
Steamboat Willie is now free, but are we? Linc and Andrew explore the court ruling that the use of the Emergencies Act in response to the Freedom Convoy was unjustified. They also discuss the countries that are delivering “freedom” and “democracy” on the global stage and who is free to be opinionated on taboo topics.
“The greatest form of control is where you think you’re free when you’re being fundamentally manipulated and dictated to. One form of dictatorship is being in a prison cell and you can see the bars and touch them. The other one is sitting in a prison cell but you can’t see the bars but you think you’re free.”
— David Icke

Note: Due to unforeseen circumstances, there were a few stops and starts in this recording. We did our best to resume our conversations from the point we left off.

The constant tension and conflict in the world these days has left the lads a little worn down. So Linc and Andrew skip the current events discussions and kick it like an old school freestyle pod covering topics like returning to work and the office, their go-to McDonald’s orders, overrated and underrated snacks, grocery store price increases, traveling to London, and more!
