Last week we learned about praying in a pandemic. This week, Pastor Trevor teaches on the surrounding verses in 1st Thessalonians 5:16-18. How do we rejoice in the midst of trials? Why should we even rejoice in the midst of trials? Watch as Pastor Trevor encourages us to seek the good in the hard times and to remain in God when all feels lost.
Many times each of us works our entire lives to build up kingdoms for ourselves. These kingdoms are the things we live for and where we find our identity. Yet, each of those kingdoms can and will be shaken. In this series we will study through Hebrews 12 and see that the Kingdom of God is an everlasting Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is ours to receive and it is a kingdom that cannot be shaken.
Jesus Christ came to set us free from the power of sin that often leaves us feeling defeated. As followers of Jesus, we don't fight for victory, but we walk in the victory already given to us.
In this sermon on Joel 1, we confront the urgent call to repentance, awakening, and readiness for the Day of the Lord. Joel’s vision of the locust plague reveals how sin slowly destroys joy, identity, and intimacy with God. In an age of spiritual complacency, this message reminds us: God’s judgment is real, but His grace is near. Jesus is not a tame figure—He is the righteous King who calls us to mourn, fast, and return to Him. This series challenges us to look up, stay ready, and seek true joy in Christ alone as we await His return
James 5:1–6 warns the rich, but what does it mean for us today? Discover the Bible’s truth about wealth, greed, and storing treasures in heaven instead of on earth.. This powerful message challenges us to examine where our treasure truly lies, because where your treasure is, your heart will also be.
In James 4:11‑17, the Apostle James confronts two dangerous heart postures—judgment and control—and calls followers of Jesus to live in humility and surrender to God’s will. In this powerful message, Pastor Nirup unpacks why only God is the true Judge and only God is sovereign over our lives. Whether you’re struggling with judgment, wrestling for control, or seeking clarity on God’s will, this sermon will encourage you to trust the One who holds your life, your future, and your eternity in His hands.
n James 4, we’re confronted with a deep truth: the greatest battle we face isn’t outside of us; it’s within. Our desires, our pride, and our divided hearts all pull us toward the world. But God, in His relentless love, is calling us back to Himself. This message explores the contrast between worldly friendship and godly intimacy. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. He longs for our affection and calls us into repentance, surrender, and restoration. “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”This is a call to come home and to choose friendship with the One who loves you most.
In this powerful message, we dive deep into James 3:13–18, where James contrasts earthly wisdom with wisdom from above. What drives your decisions—selfish ambition or humble surrender? Are you living out a wisdom that reflects the heart of heaven?Discover how to move beyond surface-level understanding and step into a life marked by peace, purity, and God’s presence. This message challenges us to examine the fruit of our lives and embrace a wisdom that transforms not just what we know, but who we are.
In this sermon, Pastor Nicole Gunter explores the power of the tongue, as described in James 3:1-12.
