As we come out of the 'hibernation' of Covid, Jesus' call to follow his example of the giving of self is as important as it has ever been. It is here that we find the blessing of: finding ourselves, finding family, and finding the lost.

"**First Things: From Ideology to Imago Dei**
""The baseline for our vision of justice must be the intrinsic value of all people as image-bearers.""
Make no mistake; this is not the vision of justice that we see in our world.
There is so much anger in our world, and we're only getting angrier! We need to repent, pray and seek the way of Jesus.
Today's webcast will be a part sermon, part pastoral call and part cultural commentary. But, hopefully, more than anything, an invitation to the liberating way of Jesus."
**[Jesus'] Love Wins**
"Love wins" sounds like a really great idea. In actuality, it is tremendously confusing. What is love? If it is winning, what is it winning against? And, how do we know it is winning?
Love is powerful, but as Christians, it must also be precise.
We continue our First Things series by shifting to a conversation about "Love." We're going to explore implications from Jesus' death that change the way we think about what it means to be loving.
See you at 7:30pm!
With all of the important "things" of Christianity, we need to be reminded of the main thing - everything flows out of our love for Jesus and finding him beautiful.
"**First Things: Objectivity, not Opinions**
Inclusivity and Diversity of Opinion are powerful and valuable ideas. In short, great *second* things.
But they are terrible *first* things. Why? That's what we're talking about on the webcast tonight!
Does our appeal to the diversity of opinions on an issue result in loss of truth?
Does our desire to be accepting erode the power of truth to provide authentic freedom?
"

There are competing for justice - one that takes our propensity for idolatry seriously and one that underestimates the condition of the human heart. Often our attempts at justice simply create more injustice. What are we to do? If we are going to pursue justice we must start with Jesus.
We might think that trusting Jesus as Lord hinges on how well we can hold on to him, but what if it actually had more to do with his hold on us?

In response to Jesus' love, how can you be unfairly and intentionally loving to someone this week?

The Gospel revolutionizes the leaders' commitment, character, and competence such that we are re-positioned towards loving others sacrificially and at the same time experience the love of Jesus deeper. Gospel leaders love because we are loved. Tonight we will reflect on our own personal formation of commitment, character, and competence as we look to allow the Gospel to revolutionize our leadership.
Gospel leadership is all about loving people, which is anything but a trite statement. Rooted in sacrificial love, the call to raise spiritual children requires rethinking everything we know about leadership. On the webcast tonight, we will work through the implications of the nature of Gospel Leadership in the practical details of our lives. Our prayer is that we will all lead with greater confidence, but more importantly, greater love as a result!
Have you ever noticed that people get stuck on the shame-guilt cycle while navigating physical boundaries in dating relationships? Tonight on the webcast, we will talk about an honour-trust paradigm for thinking about boundaries and equip you to engage in intentional discipleship conversation to lead to healthier dating relationships.
Dating Discipleship, Physical Boundaries at 7:30pm on the webcast!
Discipleship and Dating - are there two words that are as scary and as important? Sometimes we are way too serious. Other times we are not at all serious enough. How do we disciple our disciples to date in a healthy and missionaly Kingdom focused way? Part 1 of Dating Discipleship!
On this episode we are going to expand our thinking on 'invitations' and consider the important foundational piece of 'relationship building.' We'll see again how simple, ordinary friendships form the basis for invitations into our Simple Church families. We'll consider some practical ways to help our Simple Churches continue to build relationships with those currently outside of the church.
