LMC Cast: LM Youth Lacrosse

Larchmont Mamaroneck Youth Lacrosse (LMYL) has been in our community for years. Players that went through this program have proven to be skilled lacrosse players, going on to break records when playing for their associated high school. On this month's LMCast, we talked to parents of school aged children working and monitoring their kids' education during the COVID-19 pandemic. One is a mother of twins and the other is a single parent working as a school teacher in NYC. We also spoke with Dr. Valerie Feit, who is the enrichment coordinator for the Rye Neck school district. They all shared their experiences, insights, and the lessons they have learned this past year when the world went into lockdown.

LMC Cast: Couples in Quarantine May 2021

With things slowly starting to get back to normal, our society has undoubtedly changed as a result to COVID-19. May is mental health awareness month. On this month’s LMC CAST, we spoke to three couples in our community, who are all at different stages of their marriage, to see how the pandemic impacted their relationships. Emma Murphy and a Frank Morris are newlyweds, Vanessa and Tory Ridder have been married for 19 years, and Sharon and Mike Mosley have been married for over 25 years. We were also joined by Colette Lopane Capella, a couples therapist in Larchmont, who gave us further insight into how relationships can be affected by difficult transitions, like life during the pandemic.
