Pastor David Maillet Scriptures - I Corinthians 12:1 (NKJV) - “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant.” - I Corinthians 14:32-33 (NLT) - “Remember that people who prophesy are in control of their spirit and can take turns. But now let me show you a way of life that is best of all”. - I Corinthians 13:1-3 (NLT) - “If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.” - 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 (NKJV) - “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit to anther the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. By Pastor Robert Rosales Scriptures - Matt 7:20 (NLT) - “Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.” - John 15:5-8 (NLT) - “ Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.” - Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT) - “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!” Message Points 3 Keys to a Fruitful Life 1. It’s supernaturally-natural to live fruitful lives. 2. The nature you feed the most wins! 3. The Holy Spirit will produce the fruit as long as we stay connected. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
By Pastor Robert Rosales Fruit is the visible expression of power working inwardly and invisibly, the character of the"fruit" being evidence of the character of the power producing it. ~ Vines expository dictionary Scriptures - Matthew 7:16-20 (NIV) - "By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them." - Galatians 5:16-23 (NLT) - So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. 17 The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. 18 But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses. 19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. 22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! - Psalm 1:2-3 (TPT) - His pleasure and passion is remaining true to the Word of “I Am,” meditating day and night in the true revelation of light. He will be standing firm like a flourishing tree planted by God’s design, deeply rooted by the brooks of bliss, bearing fruit in every season of his life. He is never dry, never fainting, ever blessed, ever prosperous. - John 15:4 (TPT) - So you must remain in life-union with me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine. - John 15:8 (TPT) - When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father! Message Points “There is ONLY one fruit of the Spirit, which is love. It is unscriptural to speak of the “fruits of the Spirit”. What is listed in Galatians 5:22-23 are eight characteristics of the fruit of the Spirit, love. All these other characteristics which are mentioned are but facets of love.” ~ Foundations of Pentecostal Theology 1. It’s supernaturally natural to live FRUITFUL lives. 2. The nature you FEED the most wins! 3. The Holy Spirit will PRODUCE the fruit as long as we stay CONNECTED. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
By Pastor David Maillet Scriptures - John 7:37-39 (NKJV) - “On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will FLOW rivers of living water.” But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.” - 1 Corinthians 12:7 (NLT) - A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. Message Points 3 Truths about the Work of the Spirit 1.The WORK of the Spirit starts with an INFLOW. 2. The WORK of the Spirit continues with an OUTFLOW. 3. The WORK of the Spirit is for the purpose of MINISTRY. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
By Pastor Robert Rosales Scriptures - I Corinthians 14:2 & 4 (NLT) - ‘For if you have the ability to speak in tongues, you will be talking only to God, since people won’t be able to understand you. You will be speaking by the power of the Spirit, but it will all be mysterious.’ A person who speaks in tongues is strengthened personally, but one who speaks a word of prophecy strengthens the entire church. - 1 Corinthians 14:2 & 4 (AMP) - For one who speaks in an unknown tongue does not speak to people but to God; for no one understands him or catches his meaning, but by the Spirit he speaks mysteries [secret truths, hidden things]. One who speaks in a tongue edifies himself; but one who prophesies edifies the church [promotes growth in spiritual wisdom, devotion, holiness, and joy]. - I Corinthians 14:14 - 15 (NLT) - ‘For if I pray in tongues, my spirit is praying, but I don’t understand what I am saying. Well then, what shall I do? I will pray in the spirit, and I will also pray in words I understand. I will sing in the spirit, and I will also sing in words I understand’ - 1 Corinthians 14:39-40 (NKJV) - Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues. 40 Let all things be done decently and in order. - Romans 8:26 (NLT) - And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. - Jude 1:20 (NKJV) - “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit…” - Ephesians 5:18-19 (NLT) - Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts. - 1 Corinthians 14:15 (AMP) - Then what am I to do? I will pray with the spirit [by the Holy Spirit that is within me] and I will pray with the mind [using words I understand]; I will sing with the spirit [by the Holy Spirit that is within me] and I will sing with the mind [using words I understand]. Message Points - 3 Personal BENEFITS to Speaking in Tongues 1. Speaking in tongues helps us to PRAY and PRAISE beyond the limitations of our natural mind. 2. Speaking in tongues strengthens our spirit. 3 . Speaking in tongues ‘re-fills’ our spiritual reservoir. Strengthened (Gk.) oikodomeō - To build, or edify.
