You can find professionals who are conducting immigration evaluations, too! In the website you’ll find bilingual recommended books, mental health YouTube channels, downloadable pdfs, mental health apps, a mental health screening from Mental Health America who I have partnered with, and bilingual non-profits that serve the community for free or low cost in the following areas: mental heath, legal, education, and community like food banks or job trainings. You can filter by state and need. All the shows are currently being transcribed so that our deaf and hard of hearing community can have access to them. They should be complete by next week! I really want my site to be fully accessible to all. We also have new shirts for our new campaign! All shirts are on sale for $17 instead of $22. You can contact us at to place your order. Season 3 will be dedicated to Children's Mental Health topics. Please note that I recorded many of these interviews in 2018 but just was not been able to edit and release them due to many schedule changes I had in my life in 2019. The reason why I had thought of having a whole season on children mental health is truly because there’s a child in all of us, so even if you are not a parent or caregiver, this is for anyone who grew up as a child in the Latinx culture.  In this trailer, I give a few updates with Latinx Therapy including We opened a wellness center in Burbank, CA and are renting office spaces & have a group/training room for events (fits 30 people). We are also renting our podcast studio for $12/hr. Latinx Therapy is launching a speaker directory so organizations can find a Latinx mental health professional for workshops, panels, keynotes & more. Did you carry the role of translating for your parents? The academic term for a child translating for a parent is “language brokering” so you will hear us refer to that in this segment. We also mentioned that children take on a “parentified” role, meaning where a child takes the role and responsibilities of an adult. In this segment, I talked with Lisette Sanchez, about the psychological and emotional effects of parents and children when this cultural value of translating out of necessity is used, such as the tendency of wanting to please parents but also a parent’s frustration and shame. We explored how to support young translators and also parents, along with discussing inappropriate settings where children should not be translating. this is so important!! I'm Mexican and Colombian, was adopted as a baby by a white lady. she always made me feel bad about having hips and breasts growing up. she wanted me to be like the little skinny white girls at my school. I was the only Latina in my school. it took years to accept my body as a strong beautiful Hispanic woman.

Anxiety is something I've dealt with a long time. But I feel real intense anxiety when something is happening and the most the time I'm right. So how can I control or decipher what techniques need to be applied.
