Description

Celebrating the Gift of Failing Spectacularly!
5 Episodes
Reverse
Today Timothy introduces a first in an intermittent series called Friends of Failure.  This episode focuses on how insecurity can freeze us to do what we want to do and Timothy uses a very recent experience about a room that is 105 degrees and positions that he's never done before to share what we can learn about our insecurities!
In today's episode, Timothy talks about the time in ministry when a Thanksgiving Dinner didn't go as planned and how he could have taken a different approach to the event, it might turned out differently!
In this episode I talk about the phenomena of having all of the plans you had for the day disappear on you and you are left wondering what happened to the day and all of the emotions that happen when your day gets taken over by a Time Vacuum.  We also have our first submitted story from Laura H. who shares about God's faithfulness even amidst a choice as a mom that appeared to be a failure.
In this lesson I talk about my first failure ( or at least the first one that I remember!) and it dates all the way back to Elementary School.  I will then go through some of the lessons that I, in thinking about that failure, find value in now.
In this first episode I will talk about my background and my "credentials" to start this show, what my hopes for the show are and then discuss 3 Problems of Failure.  If you are interested in sharing a story with me that I can share with the community about some time you failed spectacularly and the lesson you learned, please email me at laughatfailure.com
