Today US troops leave Afghanistan, ending a war that started my freshman year of high school.  How did we get here and what can we do to re-think western society?    I believe we need to have more soul, flow, and love back into society. We became a beacon of hope for the rest of the world by being aggressive and having rhythm, soul and flow as a nation. I am sleep deprived and no longer have any sense of time, so it is morning for me. On September 11, 2001, the TVs turned on in my high school cafeteria. I spent study hall watching the events unfold. On August 15, 2021, the twitter notifications blew up as Afghanistan fell to the Taliban. This time, I did not notice right away as I was on paternity leave with my seven week old son. Join me over the next twelve mornings for my twelve part mini-series: Good Morning, Afghanistan! I will cover international updates on the evolving #Afghanistan situation, as well as what it is like to change, feed, burp, walk around, soothe, put to sleep...and then repeat all over again for sixteen straight days while my beautiful girlfriend and mother of our son, Mirjana, gets some much needed R&R. First episode is up! I rant a little bit. Being sleep deprived for the last five days has already started to mess with me. I have no idea what time it is and words are now hard.
