Start with your Why

Start with your Why

2020-11-1912:16

As people of the Christian faith, we believe that Christ guides our steps. Therefore we move forward with intention and purpose. Faithful ministry begins with discernment as we ask: "God, how are you calling me to lead your people?" Deep within this question is the call to articulate our purpose and values- the “why” for all of the ministry experiences we seek to create. Through prayer, we can identify our “why,” our purpose and values that will guide our ministry. Your “why” provides the foundation and the motivation for the work you and your creative team will do together. This intentional work helps us move forward with intention and care, helps us make difficult decisions, and gives us an evaluative tool as we reflect on our ministry asking, “God are we being faithful?”
