Authorities in Tampa, Florida say three people are dead and a deputy is injured after a shooting over Father’s Day weekend. Christos Themelis Jr. allegedly shot and killed his father, Christos Themelis Sr. inside their home, then held his mother, Rebecca Ann Themelis, at gunpoint as deputies tried to talk him down. The Hillsborough County sheriff says Themelis shot at deputies, hitting one in the leg, before he was hit by return fire. Odalys Maria Bancroft and her four-year-old stopped at a bank ATM one week ago when another car suddenly pulled up next to them and a man opened fire into their minivan. Three-year-old Julian Wood and his mother Margot were in the parking lot of an Ohio grocery store when Bionca Ellis, 32, allegedly attacked them with a knife. A woman in Mississippi claims that Ivana Williams, who was working for Mississippi Highway Patrol at the time, assaulted her when she was too inebriated to consent. Williams also allegedly filmed the sexual encounter. According to the lawsuit, Williams told the woman her face could not be seen in the video and refused to delete it. Williams has countered the lawsuit by saying she filmed the encounter with the woman’s permission and that the other woman was the aggressor.
