Le Café Music #7: Hazy Weekends & ThBenjFeaturing:Hazy Weekends - ChloroformThBenj - nananana Magnus Sörensen and Marcus Bohm are the two guys behind the brand-new duo Hazy Weekends. Both of them have a background with other projects; Marcus comes from the indie band Kyte and is still active with the Swedish group Marcus Bohm & the BANG! Magnus was the lead singer of Suburbia and can also be heard in his solo project Magnus Sörensen & the Captains Inc. The two of them started writing music together in the trio Crossing Memory Lane and that’s where the idea of Hazy Weekends was born. It started as they discovered writing together led to a whole new creative process and the result sounded like nothing they would’ve come up with on their own. They decided to occupy a secluded cabin in the woods without any disturbances such as internet, phones, neighbors or telly, but with only the peaceful silence of the nature surrounding them… and of course a couple of instruments.
