I just listened to the episode "Wherein Abigail Fields Recalls her First Death..." which was, like all of Mr. Burton's picks, excellent. I'm commenting because of the afterward. I was so sorry to hear that someone else had misinterpreted the show's pro-Blackness as anti-whiteness. Just like the Reading Rainbow of my childhood, this podcast is a celebration of humanity. I think it does an incredible job of highlighting a diverse range of authors and perspectives. He makes space for voices that have historically been pushed by the wayside in SF and we the listeners reap the benefit of being exposed to their unique voices. I love this podcast and reccomended it almost weekly. I appreciate I both as excellent entertainment and food for thought. Those looking to expand their horizons both in fiction and beyond (and isn't that the point of SF?) will not be disappointed here.

Sometimes a short story comes along that you just know is going to stay with you for probably the rest of your life. The Yellow Wallpaper was my first, The Nine Curves River is my most recent.
