Welcome to this series on connecting our pain to our purpose and then turning it into Joy! In this episode, we'll explore how acknowledging and using our pain can lead to a deeper sense of purpose in life. Tony, shares his own story of using his pain to drive him forward in building a business and working on a project to help others overcome their fear of public speaking. He emphasizes the importance of recognizing our pain, so that we can use it to grow and heal, and how having a team to support us can make all the difference. Tony reflects on the example of Harriet Tubman, who used her voice as a weapon to save others and encourages us to use our voice as a superpower for good instead of a weapon for bad. He emphasizes the value of having a community to guide and support us on our journey, and to find the courage to love ourselves no matter what. Throughout this episode, we'll discuss the importance of persevering through challenges and not giving up, the value of having a team to support our goals, and the joy that comes from serving others. We hope you'll leave feeling inspired to connect your pain to your purpose and use it to create a lasting legacy of joy and service. So, let's get started.
Welcome to Leaders Lead Podcast. Today, I want to talk about purpose and how it can be discovered through pain. I truly believe that pain is the road to purpose, and joy is found when we help others find their purpose. I want to share my own story of how I found my purpose and hope that it will inspire others to reflect on their own struggles and use those experiences to help others. I was afraid of public speaking. But one day, I had to give a speech at work. I talked about the injustices that my colleagues were going through and assured them that I was working on it. I even went as far as to say that if anyone was going to get fired, it would be me. Afterward, a lady approached me and said that my speech had saved her life. She was thinking of quitting and taking her life due to her fear of losing her job, but my words brought her joy back. This experience moved me to pursue public speaking, even though I was still afraid. I was determined to follow what I believed God was telling me to do. Another pivotal moment for me was when I was about to give a speech to my daughter's class. I felt immense pressure not to disappoint her, so I prayed to God to make me the best motivational speaker I could be. I felt a tingling inside of my body, and for the next three years, my family went on a wild ride. We faced some of the biggest pains we had ever gone through, and my leadership as a father was tested like never before. But through it all, I realized that God had a bigger plan for me than I could have ever imagined and that speaking was just a part of it. My family has been through a difficult journey with our babies, who were diagnosed with a rare condition called pandas - a form of brain encephalitis caused by an infection or even just a common cold. Though it was a challenging time, I felt my leadership grow - both personally and externally - as I provided support for my wife and family. And now, I realize that my purpose is to use my experience to support other families who are going through similar situations, and to raise awareness so that no other babies have to go through what my babies went through. In conclusion, finding your purpose through pain is not an easy journey, but it is a necessary one. I encourage everyone to reflect on their own struggles and use those experiences to help others. We can all make a difference, one story at a time.If you enjoyed this episode and want to learn more, be sure to subscribe to our show on your favorite podcast platform. Don't miss out on our future episodes, where we'll be exploring other topics related to mindfulness and wellness. Thanks for listening!

Hello and welcome to the podcast. Today, I want to talk to you about something that is very close to my heart - not giving up on your dreams. As an entrepreneur, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to stay motivated and focused, especially when faced with challenges and obstacles along the way. But here's the thing - the goals we set for ourselves may seem overwhelming and daunting, but we should never give up on them. It's important to push through the hard times and stay focused on what we want to achieve. We need to be resilient and not be discouraged by setbacks. I want you to use your current struggles as motivation to keep going. Remember why you started this endeavor in the first place and think about what you don't want to be. You are not a quitter, and you have something unique to offer to your business. So take the necessary steps to achieve your goals and stay focused and motivated throughout the process. I am inspired by a project that I am currently working on, and there have been moments of doubt. But if I give up now, I won't be able to see the potential of my idea and what could be accomplished. So I encourage you to persist with your work and never give up on your dreams. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for what you have already accomplished, what you are currently doing, and what you will do in the future. You are capable of achieving something great, so keep pushing forward and never give up. I want to encourage you to keep feeding that ambition inside you, and to do whatever it takes to stay on track. And if you ever find yourself off track, remember that it's always possible to get back on. But it's up to you to make it possible. You have to take action and make it happen. I know you might be listening to this and thinking, "that's all good for you, but what about me?" Well, I want you to know that there's something special about you. And one thing I know for sure is that you're not a quitter. That's why you're here, listening to this show, looking for inspiration and motivation to keep going. Sometimes it's easier to figure out who you're not, rather than who you are. You're made up of a combination of different things, different ideas, different words. So take a look at what you're not. But one thing you're definitely not is a quitter. No matter what challenges you're facing, no matter how tough things may seem, I want you to keep going. And if you need to, use that nightmare that's in front of you to fuel your fire. Use it to keep you motivated and inspired. And if you're not sure where you're going or what you want, then focus on where you don't want to go. Use that to give you direction and purpose. I believe in you, and I know you can achieve great things. Keep pushing forward, and never give up on your dreams.
This episode is about vision and how it relates to entrepreneurs and leaders. It is for people who need an adjustment on their vision or who feel discouraged due to a lack of vision. Tony Taylor explains that when he first started out, he was pitched new ideas all the time, but never actually listened to them because he knew he needed to have singular vision when it came to staring his business. Vision is important when it comes to making decisions and staying on track scaling and growing a business. Leaders must be able to see the big picture, anticipate potential problems, and make sure that the team is all on the same page. It is also important to have an open mind and be willing to adjust the vision as needed. Ultimately, having a strong vision can make all the difference in the success of a business. Tony talks about his vision of inspiring and motivating others to not give up on their dreams. He explains that he knows this because he has given up on many things in his life, such as boxing, school, and many other endeavors. He wants to help others not feel the same bad feelings he did when he quit, and to find their passion and joy. He encourages listeners to find their vision and not give up on it. Timestamps 0:00:00 Heading: Vision and Direction for Entrepreneurs and Leaders 0:01:50 Topic: The Power of Vision and Self-Discovery 0:06:56 Motivating Others to Find Their Passion and Joy: A Conversation with Tony Highlights Wow. So that person wants to give other people a sense of decency, a sense of support because they believe that everybody should have access to clean water, and food. And that's Tony's vision, Tony's mission, and everything else that comes after that, if done properly would truly align with not only who he is as a person at the moment, but who he's daring himself to be. Ask yourself why.. For me, I always loved, loved, loved on people. And I've always been passionate, sometimes more passionate about other people's lives than I was about my own life. I believed in other people, sometimes more than I believed in myself, and I just championed them, and that was my deal. But when I went on my journey of self-discovery and I started asking myself these questions, these why questions, that's exactly what I came up with, was, I love to serve people so that they can fulfill their life's mission so that they can fulfill their goals or the goal that they have in life. The leaders that make a difference are the leaders that had a vision. A vision. Tony wants to ask you, and you could write this down if you're driving, don't write it down. Just remember to write it down. Write it down, scribe it in your mental, in your mind, but write down the thing that you envision, the thing that you want to come to fruition, the thing that you're willing to work hard for, the thing that you truly desire. But unless you need some ideas or you don't have any ideas, then yeah, go and talk to the person with a million of them. They'll give you one idea and you'll be able to 1000 ideas. You'll be able to pick one and really hone in on that one. Tony is talking about vision. Vision is seeing the things that cannot be seen, seeing the things that aren't there. And that's what makes the difference between a leader in an organization, and a leader of some of these different countries.
