Wealth Strategy

Wealth Strategy

2022-04-1340:11

I talk with Vicki Wusche about creating a Wealth Strategy. We discuss how wealth is about subtraction, the four M's (money, meaning, missions, and memories), and spreadsheet nerds. Join us and rethink your personal wealth strategy.   Key Takeaways: A boss told me that it's not what you make; it's what you spend. I still think about that.   Start writing down your income and expenditures so you can focus on what your money is doing. You'll begin to become more conscious about the money you're spending.   You can now spend money on Amazon without putting it in a basket. It's like playing a game on your phone. You have to remember that it means more time at work and therefore you're giving up time with your family.   For most people, the sole purpose of going to work is to make money, and then if they're not taking care of that money, they're wasting it.   The epitome of a wealthy life is a lifestyle that includes knowing how many hours you're going to have to work and how much you should have in the bank to cover your basic expenses.   In one of my books, wealthy retirement plan, I talk about the four M's: money, meaning, missions, and memories.   As you age, you can't look at money the same way. You've got to figure out how much money you need to live the life you want to live.   It is good to have a conversation about managing your income and your expenses. Start with a spreadsheet and go over it with your family quarterly.   Every year, you need to review your finances and utilize your findings to make informed choices.   We are consumers of stuff, and the world's not like that anymore, so we're all in debt, buying stuff that we don't need and paying interest and stress for stuff we don't need. This is going to be a great show today we learn more about the Law of Attraction. This concept has gained a lot of attention in recent years, with many people finding success in their personal and professional lives by practicing it. But what exactly is the Law of Attraction, and how does it work? Is it a scientific principle, a spiritual belief, or simply wishful thinking?   Helping us learn more today, is my guest Victoria Gallagher. Victoria is a worldwide leader in Hypnotherapy, a best-selling author, an international speaker, a life success coach, and a renowned authority on the Law of Attraction.   The Law of Attraction is a belief that by focusing our thoughts and energy on our desires, we can manifest them in our lives. It is based on the principles of quantum physics and has been mentioned in various spiritual and philosophical teachings throughout history. The Law of Attraction can be practiced through visualization, affirmations, and gratitude, and requires taking action towards our goals and aligning our beliefs with our desires. Although it has gained mainstream popularity, the Law of Attraction has been criticized for promoting a "magical thinking" approach to life. It can be used to attract various things into our lives, and is a personal practice that can be interpreted and applied in different ways by different people.   Victoria M. Gallagher is an expert in hypnotherapy, a bestselling author, international speaker, life success coach, and a recognized authority on the Law of Attraction. Her focus is on empowering people around the world to achieve their dreams through meditative recordings and online courses. This podcast explores the difficult topic of coping with grief. Losing a loved one can be one of the most challenging experiences in life, and the process of grieving can be overwhelming and confusing. In this episode, I speak with Alison Pena who lost her husband, David Beynon Pena to Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Losing a loved one can be one of the most difficult experiences in life. Grief is a process that can't be rushed, so it's crucial to take the time you need to move through it on your own timeline. Remember, it's okay to feel sadness, anger, and confusion during this time. While the death of a loved one is a common type of loss, other types of losses like a pandemic, business failure, job loss, divorce, death of a pet, damaged relationships in your circle, your own illness, or even aging can also cause feelings of grief. You should allow yourself to grieve these losses and seek support if you need it. By taking these steps, you can begin to take back your life after loss and find hope for your future.
We learn more in this episode about living vicariously through yourself. My guest, Angela Marshall, and I discuss not listening to external voices, ignoring those negative internal voices, and being who you are. We discuss what we have learned from our personal experiences. Being who you are, rather than who others want you to be, is an essential aspect of living a fulfilling life. It's easy to fall into the trap of trying to please others and meet their expectations. However, in doing so, we can lose sight of our own desires and passions. When you prioritize your authentic self, you'll attract people who appreciate and accept you for who you are, rather than for what you can do for them. It takes courage to be yourself and live authentically, but the rewards are worth it - you'll experience greater joy, meaning, and fulfillment in your life. The goal is to inspire and motivate you to believe in your abilities and not let external negativity hold you back. Angela Marshall is a motivational speaker, best-selling author, creative consultant, ex-NFL wife, and owner of the business "In Other Words, By Stone". She uses her life experiences to inspire and motivate others while advocating for her community and supporting youth mentorship. Angela resigned from her corporate job to focus on her passion for helping others and has been featured in multiple platforms, including "Women Who Lead" anthology. Her auto-biography "Reality to Rags to Riches; The Story and Life of an Ex-NFL Wife" chronicles her journey from a lavish but unfulfilling lifestyle to finding her purpose. Angela is also a member of various organizations, including the Professional Women’s Networking Association and the African American Authors for Literacy Campaign.
