Learning without Boundaries

This initiative incorporates wireless mobile handheld technology into teaching and learning. With support from the Governor's Productivity Investment Fund and in collaboration with Apple, Inc., Virginia Tech, and Radford University, the Office of Educational Technology is studying the potential benefits of wireless mobile technologies—such as iPod Touch devices and global positioning system (GPS) receivers—for day-to-day teaching.
