Description

The courtroom can be a battlefield over money, people’s rights, and even their lives. For some cases, the consequences can affect us long after the verdict is read.

Based on extensive interviews and court transcripts, Wondery’s new podcast LEGAL WARS puts you inside the jury box of some of the most famous court cases in American history, including Hulk Hogan’s courtroom wrestling match with Gawker, the battle for free speech on the internet, and the Rodney King trial that set off the LA Riots. Host Hill Harper, actor and Harvard Law School graduate, brings you the drama, the larger-than-life characters, and the real-world impact these cases had on our society.

I can't bear this any longer. The single-voice-for-all-characters does NOT work. The whiny voice for both Mrs. Goldwater and Boroson is fingernails on a blackboard, and a deal - breaker for me.

Well researched and fascinating. But, for the love of God please get some voice actors in there. Not everyone has a graveley New York accent, and they sound the same even though they're different characters. The female voice is absolutely abysmal.

For anyone interested in learning more about this, there is actually a museum in the courthouse basement in Rhea county, Tennessee (city of Dayton). It's about 40 miles from Chattanooga.

please hire some actors to do the voices. I love your podcast but it really reduces the quality when you do all the voices. it's no longer funny or cute but actually a reason to stop listening. even one other person would help

so naive when it comes to 911. he really thinks that the owner of the twin towers just happened to take out a massively overvalued insurance policy a few weeks before by mere chance. dude, people knew it was going down.
