just start | Ashley Rivas

Ashley Rivas is a mom of 2, ministry wifey, and all things organization guru. She wouldn't call herself that, but everyone knows it's true-she has a gift. With school starting back, it's the perfect time to hear some organization and REAL routine life hacks that we can all brush up on to make our busy lives as moms, wives, ministry overseers, etc etc just a little bit easier! Happy start back-to-school, and may we all not only survive, but THRIVE in this new school year! I'm mostly preaching to myself here:)

2.0 | Maisa Harrison

Part 2 of Maisa's story is here and in all its barely edited glory- I couldn't leave anything out, it was all too good! This is her testimony on how God drew her from thousands of miles away in Brazil to teensy little central Arkansas. A real conversation is had about immigrants and the struggles from the other side that we don't always see as Americans. Church hurt is also mentioned. The hand of God in her life is so evident throughout the twists and turns of her life to now, where she and her husband are living a blessed life! And wait for it, there's a huge surprise at the end! Love all y'all-until next week:)

determined | Rachael Justice

Rachael Justice- mom to two, married to Dustin (DJ), opens up about her personal testimony and journey to God. It wasn't an easy path, and even after getting in church, it wasn't always a bed of roses. She speaks on different trials, being a rebellious teenager, experiencing jail as a juvenile, trials regarding motherhood, a difficult first baby, and being the default caregiver for her bedridden mother who almost died of Covid. Throughout all of it, her theme was "determination". She was determined to overcome, and she did. #7 pieces of dreams with Ashley Kematick

warning label: Today's episode does include the topic of sexual abuse-there are no details of any kind, but if you have younger listeners around, please be mindful of this. Ashley Kematick is a mom of two, and 26 years old. When Jessica approached her about coming on the podcast, Jessica assumed she would speak on the struggle of being a child who grew up with both family in and out of church, her experience in coming to Truth, and how it shaped her into becoming the mom she wanted to be and currently is to two sweet babies. Little did Jessica know that Ashley, after hearing Mara's episode (#1), had felt compelled to share her trauma of being sexually abused as a 9-year-old girl, in hopes of helping someone feel seen or related to in this matter. It's been 17 years of no one but her husband knowing this occurred. Here is her truth, and the beauty from ashes testimony that God has intricately woven in her life. If someone you know has gone through this or a similar situation, please share this episode with them. keep coming back | Kristen Rowland

Kristen Rowland | mama to Raylan-sits down for a real conversation on how God not only brought her back to truth, but how He has kept her. Raised in truth until she was 9 years old, she talks how it was to watch her parents backslide, and the after effects it had on her own life until she made it back. The devil fought her to get back, but he also fought her to stay. She talks the struggles she went through to stay after living out the very public journey of a pregnancy out of wedlock. The shame of sin the devil kept forefront in her mind, the lies he would tell her to leave the church, and the process she went through to overcome and now be the mom she knew she wanted for her baby, no matter what. Her determination is a testament to the strength the Holy Ghost gives us to KEEP COMING BACK.
