This week I'm joined by good friend Stephanie Arbetter, who also happens to be a social media guru & senior analyst with Hilton. Stephanie and I chat about the future of hotels and travel in a post-covid world, what brands can be doing better to connect with their clients and customers in an ever-growing digital sphere, and, we look at some new popular trends in the hospitality industry. *Sidenote: we did have some tech issues with the audio on this episode unfortunately, so apologies on that.
A quick update for some things coming to the show in the near future.
This episode I'm joined by podcast & production duo Ani Moush and Irish O'neil, co-owners of 'Too Much Content'. We talk about where we see the future of podcasting going, the surge of NYC's new spike of homeless in the wake of Covid lockdowns, 'call-out' culture in the world of standup, and a whole bunch of other topics (too much to fit into this description). But it's all funny and interesting stuff, so give it a listen. Check out Too Much Content at: www.toomuchcontent.live
Back from a bit of a hiatus this week, with a long form discussion with two of my favorite funny people. More regular episodes returning soon.
In this episode, I'm joined by two of my favorite funny people; Anthony Amorello and Jack Burke. We dive into a LOT this episode... everything from the new covid-passports, to the best way to plan a bachelor party, to 'if Tony Stark is a libertarian?' There's a lot of Gems in this one. Also, Jack thinks we need to cancel the internet. Give it a listen, and be sure to follow both of these hilarious dudes on their pages. Anthony Jack
Vaccine passports seem to be a reality that's right around the corner, unfortunately. I've got some thoughts. Spoiler, this isn't going to end well for us. Also, Gina Carano gets more hatred from the 'woke' left. And Amazon has an interesting new strategy to take on its critics.
Donald Trump's announced he's launching his own social media app in the near future. I give my take (spoiler; it's going to be great for corporate media and awful for the rest of us). Also I give my thoughts on the current situation surrounding Biden's border crisis, the rapidly escalating tensions between the US and China, and a story out of Colorado about the conservative baker who can't stop getting sued by progressives. This time it's over his refusal to bake a celebratory Trans-cake.
Another solo episode this week. I kick things off with a quick recap & update of where I plan to take the show moving forward. I give my latest thoughts on my preparation into 'Dad-hood', my recent experience with psycho dog owners, a review of the new Netflix document sty The Last Blockbuster, and I bring back an old (and favorite) segment 'breaking down this week's craziest headlines.
Flying solo this episode; giving a few thoughts on Cuomo's cancel culture comments, the overblown Dr. Seuss outrage, and how to 'unplug from the grid'.
My progressive pal Ricky Dunlop (aka R!CKYRANTS) returns to the podcast this week. We dive into everything surrounding M4A, the capitol 'insurrection' (the coup that wasn't), Elon Musk's plan to create his own city in Texas.
This episode I'm joined by two of my favorite fellow comedian podcasters, and co-hosts of the Ready, Set Blow Podcast; Randy Valerio and Chase Abel. We dive into everything culture-war this episode, ranging from the new 'genderless' potato head toy to 'is it time to update the role of Black History month for usefulness in 2021. Give it a listen.
This episode I'm joined by fellow comic and host of The Actual News with Alex Giampapa, Alex Giampapa. Alex and I discuss Gina Carano's recent firing from Disney+, dived into some history of the Catholic Church, and its similarities to today's political elites, and, analyze the recent article from TIME Magazine: The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election.
After a few month hiatus, Let Me Be Clear is back with regular episodes. New eps dropping regularly weekly. Stay tuned for more soon.
Quick update to wrap up 2020. We'll be back with new, full episodes in 2021.
We're finally at the home stretch of this never-ending election cycle, with the election only days away, I give my analysis of what's coming, and how we should prepare.
This episode I'm joined by comedian and host of the 'Midlife Isis' podcast, Anjan Biswas. Anjan and I talk about the growing political divide in our country, and break down how it's actually much more between the politically obsessed and the politically apathetic, rather than between the 'left' and the 'right', despite what the media would have you think. Also, we dive into the recent spike in big tech censorship, the future of standup comedy, and what's next for internet activism.
This episode is another release from what I've started to dub The Stereo Sessions; one of the great chat's I've had on the new social networking platform stereo. I had a conversation with Tucker Hobbie, Co-Lead of the Virginia Chapter of Articles of Unity. We talk about what's next for the unity movement, specifically looking at 2024, how to internet has warped many peoples' perception of what is and isn't free speech, and many other great insights surrounding this upcoming election.
This episode I sit down with Armenian comedians Anthony Amorello and Mark Steven's to talk about the current genocide being committed by Azerbaijan against the Armenian people. We break down a bit of how this conflict started, why many world powers are continuing to ignore it, and what we can do to help raise awareness about this important issue. Apple announces the release of the iPhone 12, and they're charging more money for even less of a product. Are we still going to end up buying it? Sadly, yes, most likely. Also a prison in OK gets in hot water for using the song 'Baby Shark' to torture prisoners, and, liberal twitter has a collective meltdown, after rapper Ice Cube calls out the Democratic leadership for continually ignoring the plight of Black America.
Lot's to dive into this episode; t's been a whirlwind of week with President Trump officially contracting and beating (maybe?) Covid-19. And of course in true Trump fashion, he delivers a bizarre message to the American public about his condition, plenty to direct here. Also, Regal cinemas is officially closing for good, and the US economy continues to circle the drain while we ride out the homestretch of this election madness.
