Some may be thinking that it would be natural for a nurse and a therapist, with 5 kids, to talk about the birds and the bees. This is not that talk and maybe that one will be on the horizon. Andrea and Duane dive into the other, often difficult, discussion about race. Andrea was raised in a predominantly black community as a child of mixed race. Duane often stood out in a predominantly white community. Both share how these experiences have shaped their world views and discuss why it's important to continue having these discussions.

I Ain't One of Your Little Friends

Andrea and Duane are joined by their 5 children, daughter-in-law, and soon to be son-in-law for a discussion of parenting and what it was and is like to be raised by parents that followed in many of the traditions of their own parents.
