This podcast is a completely new venture. Brace yourself for whatever that's coming. Keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming episodes with a variety of lovely guests!
How many of you have seen job requirements that state "proficient in English & Mandarin (to liaise with English and Mandarin speaking clients)"? We chat about being graduates after polytechnic and sending resumes almost every day during the pandemic. We also talk about how fluent we are with our mother tongue language and other random shit.
Our patience has been tested to its limits during the last few months before we graduate from polytechnic. We've also been feeling easily frustrated & annoyed! Also, I chat with Anis about being amidst drama & wrongly accused but more on moving forward to always being a better version of ourselves from these experiences!
EHH HOW YOU DEAL WITH YOUR MONEY?! Money can make or break people & relationships they say, really? What's the juiciest is when people start borrowing money then all the nonsense starts. We talk about everything from having adequate financial planning to when we first started earning our own cold hard cash. Photo courtesy of Pixabay.
I chat with Sabrina, who has volunteered with the National Youth Council (NYC) Singapore. She's had her fair share of volunteering for the local music scene. For me, it’s volunteering with Youth Corps Singapore (YCS) during my polytechnic days for 2 Youth Expedition Programme (YEP) trips to Da Nang, Vietnam.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! 🎉 Are you like Ben who doesn’t believe in new year resolutions? We shared some stories that happened to us and some insights on what we're working on during the year. Here's to hoping for a blessed and fruitful year ahead! Photo courtesy of Pixabay.
Talking to Bradley from THE JUICE PODCAST, about why we started a podcast in the middle of a pandemic & the reality of a fresh podcast. Both of us share the same interests in radio, audio content and just talking. WISHING YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS & ADVANCE HAPPY NEW YEAR BECAUSE IT'S THE LAST EPISODE OF 2020! 🎄❤️
We didn't hold back our vulgarities in this episode, so yeah... we chat about our experiences being a third-wheeler in many of our friends' relationships. Definitely, there's pros & cons with these things but one thing for sure... we hope that you are doing well with whatever relationships you're having right now ❤️
SHADES WERE THROWN! WE ROASTED EACH OTHER! Out of boredom, we played a game of scissors paper stone. With a catch, that the loser was asked some questions that placed them on the hot seat!
What does the phrase "love is blind" mean to us? Second chances and trust issues? Karisha definitely doesn't condone cheating of any sorts so you'll hear about that! We banter about how it could feel being at both ends of the spectrum, the one getting cheated on & the cheater. Above all, please remember only you know what's in your heart and we want you to know that it's completely human to feel whatever emotions you feel in life.
The diploma of Interactive Digital Media has VANISHED from Republic Polytechnic? But recently, he joined a giveaway by a local content creator, Umehara Keiji and won himself some goodies! Jialiang shares with us his course of action after secondary school trying to pry into the saturated media world with his uneven Twitch & YouTube streaming.
NO CUTS, NO EDITING, IT'S RAW as I answer some of your questions on my Instagram (@winshah) which ranges from my opinions on toxic positivity, worst dates (EVEN IF THERE ARE AHAHAA), love advice and even a question on whether I'm cisgender... Y'ALL CRAZY!
Afiq shares about an accident he saw & Erwin actually getting into an actual accident recently! BUT stay with us as we talk about our favourite eateries such as The Mad Sailors, The Working Title, Fat Papas, WakuWaku Yakiniku, The Social Outcast, Milksha, Encik Tan, Genki, Llao Llao, Yole and a lot more...
Yapping away about why we work part-time while sharing our BEST & WORST customers ever encountered! Ria joins me as we discuss our experience working part-time since we left secondary school at 16 years old. She worked at Marks & Spencer before working for Boost Juice Bar now. For me, I worked flexi part-time with the Singapore Carnival for 3 years & on top of my multiple odd jobs.
A CRAZY SEGMENT AT THE END... Catching up with a lovely & warm individual, Afiq! We've always been more expressive, not so masculine, had more female friends & most importantly more flamboyant as guys. We rewind how & where it all stemmed from and agree that societal norms on males have definitely changed.
What gives you that extra drive when making decisions? Why do you even stop to think before making that decision? Esther & Humaira helped me on this one. We shared & responded to some of my followers' responses on Instagram about their extra push when deciding on a certain decision in life.
SURPRISE TO NAUMAN & ISAAC AT THE END HAHA LISTEN TO FIND OUT & WATCH THE VOLUME! We talked about growing up different as guys & our opinions on societal standards. Please don't mind us as we indulge in some of our inside jokes since we haven't met in years.
Bringing back Esther as we talk about having more friends & companions of the opposite gender. We talk about why we've always had more friends of the opposite gender, what are peoples' opinions of us & also what kind of vibes do we think we emulate as a person.
3 consecutive years working in the Singapore Carnival has definitely changed us. I finally got Michelle on the podcast SO PLEASE REDUCE YOUR VOLUME! We chat everything as much as we can about our mad & mind-boggling previous Carnival experience. If you're a staff or once worked there, you'll probably relate but if you're a customer or patron then this is a treat for you.
Things get real spine-chilling real fast. We have Esther sharing her primary school stories supernatural stories & something about a notebook Whatever you may believe in such as ghost, spirits, demons, or entities... please respect their realm. Photo courtesy of Pixabay.
