The most shocking 800 in US history? 16-year-old Cooper Lutkenhaus ran 1:42.27, four seconds faster than any high schooler ever, and almost beat Donavan Brazier, who completed his unbelievable comeback with the win.
We try and breakdown Lutkenhaus's run and hopefully give enough love to Brazier's brilliance. Plus Yared Nugude and Josh Hoey suffered the devastation of USAs while Jonah Koech emerged, Cole Hocker did some Cole Hocker things and Sha'Carri Richardson was arrested en route.

Is this the week we see the first sub-4:00 mile by a woman? We preview Faith Kipyegon’s historic attempt and dive deep into the science behind it with Dr. Mike Hahn of the Bowerman Sports Science Center & Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance (1:01:42).
We also chat with Andreas Almgren (1:43:40), fresh off his stunning 12:44 European record in the 5000m. He opens up about training, belief, and adapting Jakob Ingebrigtsen’s methods to reach the next level.
We break down a ridiculous weekend in the men’s 1500 — two guys run 3:27 in Paris (Azeddine Habz & Phanuel Koech), and Cam Myers and Josh Hoey join the sub-3:30 club.
On the U.S. high school front, the talent is exploding: Natalie Dumas pulls off an all-time triple, Cooper Lutkenhaus runs 1:45 as a sophomore, and more phenoms are emerging.

What a week. Nico Young blasted a 12:45 to get the huge win in Oslo, while Josh Hoey went 1:42, Donavan Brazier 1:43, and Andreas Almgren (a "random" Swede) went 12:44.
Plus NCAA stars were born, the Gjert Ingebrigtsen trial ended, and Grand Slam Track may be over as well.
