Chad Stears is a Baton Rouge native and also went to LSU. Chad has been a D1 umpire for 20 years and counting. He talks about becoming an ump and the process of you have to go through to be an ump. He tells his story of when the parrot landed on his shoulder during a game. He is what some of know him as the guy behind the Diamond Legacy Events. He holds one of if not the biggest tournament for the younger age groups in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He talks about why he gets the umps he gets to call his tournaments also. KC is the founder of Impact Gold in Texas and he also coaches IG 18u/16u Jackson. He has over 400 girls make it to college on softball scholarships and has coached 50+ NCAA All-Americans.
