lex Friedman is smart but very naive Dave Smith is just a plain idiot who refuses to acknowledge reality when it stabs him in the heart kicks him in the face and blows up his children restaurants cafes and fires thousands of rockets monthly into Israel. I know how he would feel and think if he lived under the reign of those rockets

These two don't understand that a non-autocratic government is inherently corrupt and wasteful. It should therefore be made as small as possible. Failure (eg rural broadband) is the norm. Fridman should've challenged their assumptions, eg why did Biden's handlers reject Starlink? Like many lefties, these guys can yap, but they just don't understand how the world works.
re: zelensky, respect, and understanding attitudes towards it all...some of us are tired of recurring demands and obvious feelings of entitlement. Some of us don't hold the same globalist view nor feel it necessary to coddle. (and in no way is this encouragement for wasted time or questions in mtgs aimed at resolution)
