You can play a triumverate variable that i call "keyforge unchained". In this mode you are allowed to play/discard/use one card from each house and have the option to play/discard/use more cards for one chain penalty per card for the active house or a two chain penalty for any other card. In this way you still declare an active (in this case dominant) house that is in par with the game mechanics.
