One thing that I’ve come to terms with and understood growing up is just because she gave birth to you doesn’t make her your mother. It isn’t a right or a privilege that you get, despite what that person thinks.
She doesn’t get to use that as blackmail either.
The one thing that I know I roll my eyes at every time I hear it slip out of someone’s mouth is “but she’s still you’re mother so you have to love her and forgive her.”

What Is Mental Health?
Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.
Over the course of your life, if you experience mental health problems, your thinking, mood, and behavior could be affected. Many factors contribute to mental health problems, including:
Biological factors, such as genes or brain chemistry
Life experiences, such as trauma or abuse
Family history of mental health problems
Mental health problems are common but help is available. People with mental health problems can get better and many recover completely.
Self-care encourages you to maintain a healthy relationship with yourself so that you can transmit the good feelings to others. You cannot give to others what you don't have yourself. While some may misconstrue self-care as selfish, it's far from that. When you pay adequate attention to your well-being, you're not considering your needs alone. You're reinvigorating yourself so that you can be the best version of yourself for the people around you. Everyone around you also benefits from the renewed energy and joy you exhibit.
Limiting beliefs are false beliefs that prevent us from pursuing our goals and desires. Limiting beliefs can keep you from doing important things, like applying for your dream job or finding the relationship you want (or leaving the one you don't want).

The idea that our society & childhood upbringing do not influence who we are today at the deepest level is one of the BIGGEST lies we tell ourselves.. If we take the time to reflect on how much of what we do and think did not originate as our own idea, and let go of things that do not serve us. We are free to embrace beliefs and life choices that genuiely resonate with who we truly are and the life that we want to live.
8 weeks ago I had my first surgery the Gastric Sleeve. Now I've been overweight pretty much since high school thats over 20 years ago and never really wanted to do anything about it until I want to say 2016 when I couldn't breathe when I walked short distance... I did Beachbody, Total Life Changes, Weight Watchers, no red meat, low carb etc. I lost a total of 39 lbs and gained it all back and then some.... I got tired of trying different things I was even injecting myself with some type of diabetes medicine prescribed by my doctor that was suppose to keep me from being hungry that worked in the beginning and then that was a fail... So I decided I needed a tool to help me along my journey and so far I have lost 25 lbs and feeling good....
As a life coach, I empower and uplift you to set goals and establish accountability for personal success. I guide you as you express your aspirations, clarify the choices before you and create action plans to achieve your goals. You set the agenda, and I serve as an objective sounding board to help keep you focused and on track.
