We don't deserve to receive good things.Every thing we are given is a gift, plain and simple. It's hard to understand just how unworthy we are, but it is the unfortunate truth. Nothing we do, no amount of good, will ever make us deserving of gifts from God. BUT...God doesn't give us what we deserve! Jesus died OUR death on the cross and gave us life instead. We have received the greatest gift of all that we could never earn! Every other wonderful thing pales in comparison.
