Transformation does not happen by simply deciding to do or not do something, because our past life without Jesus is firmly planted in our mind. We are transformed by allowing God to change the way we think. The Life Transformation Discipleship Plan is designed for just that: changing the way you think - transformation.

God's plan for me is to become more like Him as a follower of Jesus and for my life to give Him glory, honor, and praise as I trust Him. If you take anything away from this week's reading, it is to trust God with the blessings He has provided!

Today we are looking at the question: Is wealth okay? We have read that everything we receive is a blessing from God, but how we use it is more important. Don't take pride in wealth, instead use it for good works!

In today's reading, take a look at Mark 8:34-38. This verse is where we see Jesus saying that if we want to be His follower, we must give up our own ways and follow His. If we try to hang on to our life, we will lose it, but if we give it up for Him, then we will be saved!

A disciple is a student, an apprentice, a follower willing to learn and grow by obeying and imitating Jesus' life and obeying His commands. In order to be a disciple, we need to remain in Jesus and follow what He tells us for our lives!
