In this episode, I interview Andy Travis, founder and owner of Unshakably Fit, for a second time. This time, we will speak primarily about the nutrition guidelines Andy provides for his clients and that he follows himself. Finally, Andy will break down the three simple things his clients do for success.
Andy's training program is guided by fitness fundamentals he has learned and crafted over the years and is driven by individual client data to create fully tailored routines.
I sought out Andy to interview because I trained at one of his gyms, and there, I met a client of his who said his training enabled her to walk again. Now, how many trainers can you say have done that? Short answer: not many.
Andy has 17 years of fitness education, and experience and he has competed competitively in CrossFit, Powerlifting, Bodybuilding, and other sports.

Tip 1: Know the basics about the human body and why it requires regular exercise.
Tip 2: Make your exercises and fitness goals interesting. Seek new tricks to teach your body.
Tip 3: Warm up with something fun, or make your entire workout fun. Don't be so serious all the time; you'll burn out.
Train a minimum of three days per week. However, for optimal fitness (depending on your goal), training five days per week with a well-thought-out exercise schedule tends to be more effective. And don't forget, your body requires daily movement.

This episode is an extension of the post “7 Reasons Why I Don’t Compete,” posted on llafit.com. This episode further exposes an aspect of the aesthetics world that isn’t talked about: the prevalence of women whose success relies on the knowledge and support of men. Instead, what is promoted on the platforms of those women are messages of empowerment and hard work – along with false claims of them being fitness experts who built their own bodies. If you enjoy the episode, please subscribe to this podcast.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/llafit-lifelong-health-and-fitness-conversations/donations

In this episode, I will describe how I went from hating exercise and opted for extreme dieting to avoid it, to becoming a personal trainer and lifelong fitness practitioner. Starting was my first goal.
