Throughout this series, we have learned that an altar is a place where people surrendered, and in that place of surrender and obedience, God would meet them there. Pastor Shawn shows us how living a life of sacrifice is not one of God taking things from us, but rather forming something deeper within us.
Sometimes God allows our faith to be tested, not to take something from us but to do something in us. Pastor Shawn McGill shares the story of Abraham to show what it means to truly trust God when the stakes are high. Through Abraham’s obedience, we see that every test of faith is really a test of trust.
Gratitude is more than a feeling, it’s a response to God’s goodness in our lives. Pastor Shawn uses the life of Noah to illustrate how true, expressed gratitude moves the heart of God.
A holy interruption is when God steps into our routine to reveal His supernatural power. Pastor TJ Williams of Lifepoint Phoenix reminds us that being open to God’s interruptions draws us closer to Him and empowers us to impact others for His glory.
Believers are called to be leaders even when everyone else seems overwhelmed. Pastor Delaney Woodward uses the story of Caleb’s bravery to illustrate how we can maintain a spirit of peace in the midst of chaos when we remember that our confidence is in the power of God.
In the hustle culture of today, our souls can grow tired. Pastor Shawn McGill shows us how seeking Jesus and following His ways provides true rest, not just for the body, but for our souls.
There are times we will suffer for our righteousness, so what do we do when we don’t know what to do? Pastor Bianca Juarez teaches us that the most important question in the face of suffering, when we change our question from “why” to “what,” God can show us how to hold on to our hallelujah.
We are invited to join Jesus in His mission to rescue people. Pastor Shawn McGill reminds us that you do not need all the answers to make a difference. What matters is being ready to share your story of faith.
We are called to follow Jesus in a way that lets other people know about the truth. Pastor Carl Kuhl shows us how being bold enough to share our stories has the power to change lives.
In difficult seasons, we can be tempted to give up on ever seeing results. Pastor Shawn teaches us that when we learn to trust in God’s timing, we can rest in the knowledge that He is always faithful to complete the good work He began in us.
When we are found in Christ, we become part of His mission to seek and save the lost. Aaron Judkins shows us how obedience, curiosity, and proximity equip us to carry out the heart of God.
Though life’s trials can feel overwhelming, the Lord is faithful to give us the boldness we need to withstand oppression. Pastor Jennifer McGill teaches us that when we resolve to obey, trust, and rejoice in God, His name is proclaimed through our boldness.
God does ordinary things through extraordinary people every day. Pastor Shawn teaches us how through the power of the Holy Spirit we can become courageous and confident, as God moves through us.
In the busyness of life, it can be difficult to remember that where you are going is not more important than who is in front of you. Berchman Paul uses the story of the lame man’s healing in Acts to illustrate how powerfully God can work when we remember to slow down.
If our spiritual life is always casual, it will never be transformational. Pastor Shawn uses the early church in Acts to model to us how devotion, generosity, and community can transform our spiritual lives.
Life is full of trials and difficulties, and when we strive to get through it all in our own power, we will always be left wanting. Thankfully, we have access to a higher power, and Pastor Shawn teaches us how to access Holy Spirit power in our lives every day.
The Word of God tells us that He is “Jehova Tsuri” which means “The Rock that doesn’t change.” Pastor Dino Rizzo illustrates how God is the rock of our lives yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and we can always depend on Him.
Lifepoint is excited to welcome its new senior pastors, Shawn and Jennifer McGill. In his message, Pastor Shawn shares his heart and vision for leading the church—expressing their deep commitment to love, nourish, and guide the congregation through the power of the Holy Spirit.
On this Commissioning Sunday, Pastor Daniel Floyd concludes the Guard It series with a powerful reminder to protect our commitment to God’s Word, our love for one another, and our culture of honor. After the message, Pastor Steve Kelly of Wave Church leads the congregation in a sending prayer for the Floyd family and a commissioning prayer for Lifepoint’s new senior pastors, Shawn and Jennifer McGill.
God’s will is for His people to be a conduit of His blessings, so that Heaven will be glorified. Pastor Daniel teaches us about three areas we are called to be generous in: our gifts, our words, and our resources.

What does this mean for the podcast? I've looked forward to listening since my divorce and attribute much of my therapy to Pastor Daniel's messages.
