No Tea (noun)The absence of tea, universally referred to as "No Tea," is a situation so dire that it has caused widespread panic, existential dread, and more than one interstellar conflict. Though not classified as a "civilization-ending" event, the lack of tea has been known to significantly reduce the productivity of humans, Vogons, and particularly perturbed Viltvodle VI philosophers.
Ford Prefect (proper noun)
A roguishly charming, if somewhat erratic, galactic hitchhiker and field researcher for The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Ford Prefect, despite his Earthly-sounding name, is not from Earth at all but hails from a small planet somewhere in the vicinity of Betelgeuse. He has a remarkable knack for surviving improbable situations, a profound disdain for Vogon poetry, and an almost obsessive relationship with his towel.
Marvin (proper noun)
Also known as Marvin the Paranoid Android, Marvin is a highly intelligent, exceedingly depressed, and chronically underappreciated robot designed by the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation. Though technically an android, Marvin is best known for his unparalleled pessimism, immense intellect, and his ability to make even the most dire situations seem a thousand times worse.

A light, airy, and seemingly inconsequential substance that can be found just about anywhere in the galaxy. Fluff, while often dismissed as trivial, has a curious knack for appearing in the most unexpected places and playing surprisingly pivotal roles in the universe's grand scheme of things.
Islington (proper noun)
A district located within the London Borough of Islington in Greater London, England. Known for its vibrant mix of cultures, quirky charm, and as a place where improbable events seem slightly less improbable.
Tea (noun)
A simple, yet profoundly significant beverage made by infusing dried leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant in hot water. Revered across the galaxy, tea is particularly important to humans from Earth, who often use it to achieve a sense of calm in the face of overwhelming improbability.
Infinite Improbability Drive (noun)
A groundbreaking propulsion system that allows a spacecraft to traverse vast interstellar distances instantaneously by generating a field of infinite improbability. The drive takes improbability as a factor and manipulates it to achieve otherwise impossible outcomes, making it one of the most remarkable and perplexing inventions in the galaxy.

A one-of-a-kind spacecraft that holds the distinction of being the first to be equipped with the revolutionary Infinite Improbability Drive. Babel Fish (noun)
A small, leech-like fish that, when inserted into the ear, allows the host to instantly understand any spoken language. The Babel Fish is one of the most remarkable (and suspiciously convenient) creatures in the galaxy.
Towel (noun)
A simple rectangular piece of absorbent fabric, often overlooked in its mundane utility, the towel is in fact one of the most massively useful things a hitchhiker can have.
Bulldozer (noun)
A large, typically yellow machine that is employed by various planetary governments and construction companies to push around vast amounts of dirt, rocks, and occasionally, the odd stranded hitchhiker. Often seen sporting an expression of mechanical indifference, it is known for its single-minded dedication to flattening everything in its path, be it terrain, small forests, or the homes of unsuspecting Earthlings.
