Hello dear students! Ahora ya sabéis que los Beatles no sólo tenían música pegadiza sino también buenas letras. Os dejo aquí la canción Help para que la podáis escuchar (y cantar) en casa:
The Beatles - Help! Lyrics
Help, I need somebody,
Help, not just anybody,
Help, you know I need someone, help.
When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me.
And now my life has changed in oh so many ways,
My independence seems to vanish in the haze.
But every now and then I feel so insecure,
I know that I just need you like I've never done before.
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me.
When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me, help me, help me, oh.
Hi again!
See you!
ALLY: Can you recommend a good museum.
RECEPTIONIST: Well, SF MOMA is fantastic.
ALLY: Sorry? Where did you say?
SF MOMA, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
ALLY: Where is it?
RECEPTIONIST: On Third Street.
ALLY: How far is it from Union Square?
RECEPTIONIST: Not far, it's just a couple of blocks.
ALLY: Can I walk from there?
RECEPTIONIST:Sure. It will take you... ten minutes.
ALLY: Can you show me on the map?
RECEPTIONIST: Yes. Err, Union Square is here and the museum is here. From Union Square you go down Geary to the end and turn right. That's Third Street. Go down Third and you'll see SF MOMA on the left.
ALLY: What time does it open?
RECEPTIONIST: It opens at eleven o'clock.
ALLY: Thanks very much.
RECEPTIONIST: Have a good day. I'm sure you'll love the museum.
Hello, here you have a new interesting dialogue...
RECEPTIONIST: Good morning, madam. How can I help you?
ALLY: I want to go shoppping. Where's the best place to go?
RECEPTIONIST:Well, all the big department stores are around Union Square.
ALLY:Can you tell me how to get there?
RECEPTIONIST:Yes, of course.Go out of the hotel and turn left. Go straight ahead down Sadder street. Turn left at Stapton, it's the third street on the left. Union Square would be right in front of you. You can't miss it.
ALLY:Thanks.

Hello class!
Are you ready to explore my website?
Here is the songs 'I ain't got no/I got life'. Enjoy!
I'll write the lyrics for you:
I AIN'T GOT NO / I GOT LIFE
Ain't got no money, ain't got no class
Ain't got no skirts, ain't got no sweater
Ain't got no perfume, ain't got no beer
Ain't got no man
Ain't got no mother, ain't got no culture
Ain't got no friends, ain't got no schooling
Ain't got no love, ain't got no name
Ain't got no ticket, ain't got no token
Ain't got no God
And what have I got?
Why am I alive anyway?
Yeah, what have I got
Nobody can take away?
I got my hair, I got my head
I got my brains, I got my ears
I got my eyes, I got my nose
I got my mouth, I got my smile
I got my tongue, I got my chin
I got my neck, I got my lips
I got my heart, I got my soul
I got my back, I got my sex
I got my arms, I got my hands
I got my fingers, Got my legs
I got my feet, I got my toes
I got my liver, Got my blood
I've got life , I've got my freedom
I've got the life
And I'm gonna keep it
I've got the life
And nobody's gonna take it away
I've got the life
