News : Free Breast Screening increased to age 74 and a fixed facility for Waikanae opened today. Health Minister Simeon Brown, Minister for Women Nicola Grigg, MP for Otaki Tim Costley, Dr Nick Chamberlain, the National Director National Public Health Service, and Coast Access Radio's Catherine Scullin were standing next to a brand new Mammography unit located on site in the now fixed Breast Screening facility in Waikanae. Free screening age has now been raised to age 74 due to research discovering that women are at high risk of Breast Cancer into their 70's.

Juli is on a mission to reduce the amount of waste that we are sending to landfill by upcycling, fixing or reusing garments out of her store in Waikanae. We send around 92 million tonnes of textiles to landfill each year world wide and Juli has great ideas on how we can reduce this including clothing swaps and donating items to their store to fix and reuse.
