While in Colorado Springs, CO, we recorded this #AskLivingSport segment with National Events Coordinator at USA Triathlon, Dylan Hammon. Dylan has traveled across the world putting on events while always finding new ways to get involved in the industry. He will provide a wealth of knowledge and experience while answering questions from a student from James Madison University during this episode.
During our visit to Olympic City USA, Colorado Springs, CO, we sat down with USA Triathlon, National Events Coordinator, Dylan Hammon. Prior to his role with USA Triathlon, Dylan spent time with the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, Monsters, the Cleveland Sports Commission, and many sport organizations across Ohio. With a continuous drive to better himself and those around him, Dylan was a perfect fit to join the podcast. Dylan is a Miami University of Ohio graduate and a Living Sport International Sport Business Program London ‘18 alum. This episode is filled with industry advice, real-world work stories, and sport office shenanigans that will leave you understanding just why everyone wants to work in sports. Under Lindsey’s direction, the IronPigs' forward-thinking and unique promotions have won multiple awards and have been highlighted in numerous national publications, including The Wall Street Journal, USA Today and Sports Illustrated. Lindsey was the recipient of the 39th MiLB Rawlings Woman Executive of the Year Award, presented annually to a woman who has made outstanding contributions to her club or league, or to baseball. Lindsey currently serves on the Living Sport Advisory Board.
