LaTascia Taylor thought she had met her fairy tale. Charming. Successful. Confident. The kind of man who walks into your life and makes you feel seen. But what started as love quickly unraveled into manipulation, danger, and a criminal empire she never saw coming. What LaTascia didn’t know was that the man she fell for was running a major drug operation. And little by little, he pulled her in. First moving money across state lines… then transporting packages… and eventually flying internationally with drugs hidden in luggage. She found herself in way too deep — and on a flight to Europe, everything came crashing down. Arrested. In a foreign country. No support. No way home. And stuck for 2 years in an overseas prison.

Devin Prince grew up in Toledo, Ohio, and became a father at just 17 years old. Struggling to provide, he turned to selling drugs — and soon fell into addiction himself. What started as a hustle spiraled out of control when a robbery gone wrong forced him to flee, landing him on Toledo’s Most Wanted list. While on the run, he became involved in a scam and later continued dealing drugs in Virginia, where he was eventually arrested and sentenced to three years in state prison. But in a shocking twist, luck was on his side — the robbery case that once had him labeled one of Toledo’s most wanted fell apart, giving him an unexpected second chance. In this episode, Devin opens up about teenage fatherhood, drug dealing, addiction, being a fugitive, life in Virginia prison, and the moment everything changed.

Jason Logan traded a firefighter’s uniform for a Hells Angels vest — but the price of brotherhood went far deeper than he ever imagined. Growing up in California, Jason was obsessed with motorcycles and adrenaline. He spent 12 years as a California firefighter, often battling wildfires side-by-side with prison inmates. But after burning out physically and mentally, he left the fire service in search of belonging, brotherhood, and purpose. That search led him into one of the world’s most infamous outlaw motorcycle clubs — the Hells Angels. Inside the club, Jason lived a life most people only hear rumors about. In this episode, he reveals what it’s really like inside the Hells Angels, breaks down the politics, rules, and hierarchy of club life, opens up about the mental health struggles members quietly face, explains how rivalries with other motorcycle clubs actually work, and shares the moment he knew he had to walk away.

Jelani Vanholten didn’t grow up wanting to work inside one of America’s most dangerous jails—but life led him behind the walls of Rikers Island. After attending college and trying several career paths, he put on the correctional officer uniform and was assigned to one of Rikers’ most feared units: The House of Pain.Inside those walls, respect wasn’t given—it was earned. Jelani became known as a CO who treated inmates with firmness and fairness, earning credibility from both staff and prisoners. But the longer he stayed inside Rikers, the darker the job became. From daily violence and psychological battles to navigating gang politics and surviving high-tension housing units, Jelani saw the brutal reality of New York City’s jail system up close. But everything changed when he felt his life was in danger—and the department didn’t have his back.

Keith Shibley was the kind of cop who ran toward danger—until the danger followed him home. Starting his career with the Virginia Port Authority Police, Keith transitioned into the Richmond Police Department, where violence, shootings, and high-stakes calls were a daily reality. Seeking a new path, he returned to the Port Authority and eventually became part of an FBI task force, responding to domestic terrorism threats, high-profile shootings, and federal-level criminal activity. But while he was protecting the public, the trauma was destroying him privately. Years of front-line exposure led to crippling PTSD, driving Keith into a spiral of painkillers, alcohol, and self-destruction—all while still wearing the badge. His life and career were on the brink. Instead of losing everything, Keith made a life-altering decision: he asked for help.

Elliot Resnick grew up in a stable, loving home and lived what many would consider a “normal life.” He worked in journalism, had a deep interest in politics, and reported on major national stories. But everything changed on January 6th, 2021. After attending the Capitol event that day, Elliot followed the crowd inside — a decision that would come back to haunt him nearly two years later. In a shocking turn, federal agents arrested him, and he was charged for his involvement in storming the U.S. Capitol. He was later sentenced to federal prison, facing the reality of losing everything — his freedom, career, and reputation. But his story didn’t end there. While serving time, Elliot became one of the few involved in the January 6th cases to receive a presidential pardon — granted by former President Donald Trump — leading to his early release.

Robert Rodriguez went from enforcing prison rules… to running the prison from the inside. After serving in the military, Robert became a correctional officer in Georgia — stepping into what he describes as one of the most corrupt prison systems in America. As a young officer, he quickly got swept into a brutal culture of violence, cover-ups, and unchecked power. He participated in beatings, witnessed extreme abuse, and says officers were rewarded for silence. Promoted to sergeant, Robert was rising through the system — until one tragic night. A fatal drunk driving accident led to a 14-year prison sentence… and everything flipped. The former sergeant entered the very world he once controlled — now wearing shackles instead of a badge. Inside, Robert didn’t just survive — he became a high-ranking gang member, involved in smuggling contraband, controlling prison politics, and even having illicit relationships with staff. He eventually helped run operations behind bars.

Michael Dilks served his country in the military before transitioning into law enforcement, joining the police force and later the Sheriff’s Department. As a member of a narcotics task force, he helped take down major operations, making high-stakes busts and battling the drug trade in Florida. But everything changed when he began to suspect that members of his own narcotics team might be crossing lines. His concerns eventually led to him becoming the focus of an FBI and DEA inquiry — a mistaken suspicion that cast a long shadow over the rest of his career. Even though he was never charged, living under that cloud changed everything. After two decades in law enforcement, Michael retired — but instead of staying silent, he turned to social media to finally tell his side of the story.

this guy is really mad about *certain people* and sneakers. then he defends people convicted of child sex crimes. and those aren't even his worst takes.
Hey Brother, I have been introduced to your show and it is the most comforting feeling I've ever had! I served 25 flat at Indiana State Prison, I got incarcerated in 1991 so prison was still run by the convicts. I was one of the last of that era to grow up in it there, it all started at 19 and lasted to my early 40s. I've been out now for 10 years and have done alright, but behind my smile lies a scared convict who feels like he is on another planet. Listening to the show, now I want to open up.
